You’ve got the Navigli canals within walking distance, but you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds right outside your door. The Porta Genova train station is close by, which makes getting around the city surprisingly easy. There are these great little bars and trattorias nearby that clearly cater to locals, not tourists with cameras.

The apartment has good natural light, which matters more than you’d think when you’re spending time working or just unwinding. Parking in this part of Milan can be tricky, but if you’re relying on public transport and walking (which honestly works better anyway), the location really delivers.

  What could be improved: The apartment was great, but if we had to give areas for improvement, they would be: need more pillows, more kitchen staples like spices and oils, and there were no potholders.

  The location is very good and it is well communicated.
  We did not have breakfast in the apartment.
  There are very good neighbors and some very good cafes, restaurants and bars in the area.
  
  What could be improved: When we arrived the keys were not in their box, we found it empty and we were scared. We were very tired and it is something that makes you nervous.
  Thank God in a short time they told us another place to find the keys and we were able to enter the apartment.
  We also had problems with the wi-fi. It did not work the first day. We were told to connect to another modem, which was not connected to the network, on the third day they came to change the modem and we were able to connect.
  The pillows were very thin and we could not rest well. The air conditioning in the living room does not work.
  Parking in that area is very complicated, almost impossible. You have to go to a paid parking lot.
