It’s got this authentic neighborhood vibe where you’ll find yourself grabbing morning coffee alongside actual Milanese heading to work. The Stazione Centrale area gets a bad rap sometimes, but Casati street? It’s quietly brilliant, with tree-lined sidewalks and that perfect mix of residential calm and urban energy.

The room I stayed in had this smart, minimalist design that actually works — not the kind where you’re sacrificing comfort for style. Everything felt purposeful, from the lighting to the way they’ve maximized space without making it feel cramped. You know what impressed me most? The attention to sound insulation, which matters more than you’d think when you’re in a busy area like this.

Getting Around

Transportation-wise, you’re genuinely well-connected here. The metro’s close enough that you can reach Milan‘s center in about fifteen minutes, but far enough that you escape the tourist crowd noise at night. I found myself walking to Corso Buenos Aires for shopping, and it’s an easy stroll through some really charming side streets you wouldn’t discover otherwise. The parking situation isn’t bad either if you’re driving, though honestly, you won’t need a car much from this spot.

  Отличная чистая квартира с новым ремонтом. Есть все необходимое для проживания, включая стиральную и посудомоечную машину.
  Место расположение очень удачное, в пешей доступности центр, рядом много хороших магазинов и ресторанов (рекомендую La ragazza и Maruzzella). Когда бываю в Милане, всегда выбираю этот район.
  Удобное бесконтактное заселение. Персонал на связи.
  
  What could be improved: В ванной не было шампуня, геля для душа и мыла. Вернее лежали два малюсеньких пакетика, которых не хватило бы и на одно принятие душа.
  Это не удобно, т.к на пару дней приходится покупать полноразмерные флаконы.

  The apartment was very well equipped, clean and pleasant. The beds were comfortable and we slept really well. The location is excellent – the neighborhood is full of nice cafés and restaurants, and prices are much better than in the central area near the train station. Big plus for the air conditioning, working Netflix, fridge, dishwasher and fresh towels. Check-in was very easy, and the hosts stayed in touch with us via WhatsApp, which was really convenient.
  
  The only small downside is the shower, which could use a bit of refreshing. Apart from that, everything was great, and if we come back to Milan, we would be happy to stay here again.

  What could be improved: The elevator has a key, it would be nice to have the key before to get upstairs with luggages.
  
  Uncomfortable bed. Had to sleep on the sofa bed last night due to back pain.
  
  Boiler to make hot water in the bathroom too loud. If one is showering and one is sleeping, the one in bed will wake up.
  
  No windows in the bathroom and The fan didn’t work. Obliged to shower with the bathroom door open.
