Easylife – Suite in Colonne San Lorenzo Milano Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first found Easylife – Suite in Colonne San Lorenzo Milano, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place in this part of town. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones that sneak up on you. The building sits right on Corso di Porta Ticinese, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it — no marble lobby or doormen in uniforms, just a solid, well-maintained entrance that feels authentically Milanese.
The Heart of Navigli
The location is actually pretty brilliant if you ask me. You’re smack in the middle of the Navigli district, which means you can stumble out the door and find yourself among Milan’s best aperitivo bars within minutes. The Colonne di San Lorenzo — those ancient Roman columns the place is named after — are literally around the corner, and trust me, they’re even more impressive when you see them every morning on your way to grab coffee. This area comes alive at night, but it’s not obnoxiously loud during the day.
The Suite Experience
The room itself surprised me — it’s more spacious than most Milan accommodations I’ve stayed in, with a proper sitting area that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The kitchen setup is basic but functional, perfect if you want to grab some fresh ingredients from the local markets and avoid tourist-trap restaurants every meal. I mean, the shower pressure isn’t going to win any awards, but everything works, and the air conditioning actually keeps up during those sweltering summer months.
Getting Around
What I really appreciated was how connected this spot feels to the rest of the city. The Porta Genova metro station is a short walk away, so you can reach the Duomo or shopping districts without any hassle. But honestly, some of my best Milan moments happened just wandering the neighborhood — there’s this little restaurant two blocks away that does incredible risotto, and the owners started recognizing me after the third visit. That’s the kind of local experience you don’t get when you’re staying in the touristy center.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to be your Instagram-perfect Milan moment, but it’s something better — it’s real. The Easylife suite gives you actual space to breathe and a genuine neighborhood to explore, all without completely destroying your budget. You’ll wake up to the sounds of a working district instead of tour groups, and you’ll probably find yourself returning to the same local spots like you actually live here. Sometimes that’s exactly what a good trip needs.
Milan’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike paths to hidden Leonardo da Vinci sites.

Reviews of Easylife – Suite in Colonne San Lorenzo Milano
Nice location and comfortable stay – Abby from United Kingdom – 2 November 2025 (7/10)
The property was in a good location. The room was suitable for my 3 day stay.
What could be improved: Nothing to dislike. Shower gel to be provided would have been a benefitVery good stay with lovely view – Millie from United Kingdom – 28 September 2025 (8/10)
Great view, quiet, easy to access, great location, amenities, decent shower and comfortable bed+pillow
What could be improved: Some miscom with the WhatsApp coordinator saying there was laundry on site when there wasn’t – so FYI no washing machine. Also you can’t store your bags before you check in and after you check out anywhere in the property – there is a storage locker site close by which was handy, but again, for the property to be 10/10 you need a storage area.Good – Bryce from United Kingdom – 25 September 2025 (7/10)
Perfect for solo or couples. Easy access to Milano Stations… Complimentary tea and coffee.
What could be improved: Can't think of anything else… Anything more would be greedy! 😁Good – Laia from Spain – 6 August 2025 (7/10)
Everything so nice and confortable. The room was perfectly clean and the views were so nice.
What could be improved: The security was not enough, the door of the room was able to open almost without anything.
The atmosphere of the location was a little strange and gave a feeling of insecurityVery good – Puti from Poland – 29 June 2025 (8/10)
Location, access, easy to do the check in, the interior design, in the center of drinking places and good restaurants
What could be improved: Sometimes the elevator is not working, outside is quite crowded (so if you are easily distract by noise is not good), but it is good area to meet up and drink.Good – Beatrice from Brazil – 20 June 2025 (7/10)
Location
Great – Vaiva from Lithuania – 1 May 2025 (7/10)
Location perfect, the apartment also great and clean!
What could be improved: Everything great, would be amazing if the property had breakfast though!Good – Janine97 from France – 31 December 2024 (7/10)
The location was perfect and the room is very confortable.
What could be improved: The shower was pretty bad, no water pressure at all and the water was cold.Very good – Polina from Germany – 27 October 2024 (8/10)
Great accommodation, amazing view
What could be improved: The bathroom was a little dirty, no house slippersGreat stay with stunning Cathedral views, close to the Duomo. Cool room with effective AC, – Maha from Saudi Arabia – 18 September 2024 (8/10)
View: Our room (401) had a balcony with an amazing view of the Cathedral Museum. It was especially beautiful at sunrise and perfect for photos.
Location: It’s a 10-minute walk from the Duomo, close to bus stops, a street full of thrift stores, and lots of great restaurants.
AC: Coming from Saudi Arabia, I was worried about the summer heat, but the room had a great AC unit that kept it cool and comfortable.
Sustainability: They use eco-friendly products like shampoos and soaps, which was a nice touch.
What could be improved: Tram noise: A tram passes right in front of the unit. It’s fast, so the noise lasts about 30 seconds.
Cathedral bells: The bells ring a few times daily, but the noise isn’t too bad.
Bar noise: The bar next door can get noisy on weekends. If you go to bed early, you’ll probably sleep through it.
with all that in mind, I will still be considering this room as an option in the future
