Here’s what I love about this area — you’re actually living like a local for a few days. The Moscova district is where young professionals hang out, so there are these great little cafés where people grab their morning espresso and cornetto. You’ll find yourself walking to Porta Garibaldi in about ten minutes, or heading toward the Brera district when you want to get a bit fancy. The metro station is close enough that getting to the Duomo or La Scala doesn’t require any planning — just hop on and you’re there.

The Space Itself

The apartment feels surprisingly spacious for Milan standards, which honestly impressed me. Everything’s been done in that clean, minimalist style with white walls and pops of color that photograph well (trust me on this). The kitchen is actually functional — not just decorative like some places — so you can make yourself a proper breakfast or grab ingredients from the local market and cook dinner. The main room has this big window that lets in tons of natural light, and you get glimpses of the neighborhood life below.

Daily Life Details

What struck me most was how easy everything felt. There’s decent Wi-Fi (important if you’re working), the shower has proper water pressure, and the bed is comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with it all night. The hosts are pretty responsive too — not hovering, but available when you need something figured out. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of Milan, but that’s just city life, and honestly, you probably won’t need a car anyway with everything so walkable.

You’re getting that authentic Milan experience without paying luxury prices, which feels like winning the lottery in this city.   What could be improved: Quite dirty, got beaten my some insects. No water, no paper were left, not even normal shampoo. Very dark. A host was keep asking me about keys that we never had and quite bad indications of how to use the keys. Not a clean apartment

  The living room and kitchen were minimal but had everything I needed.

  What could be improved: No water or welcome snacks were provided as in flats of a certain standard.
  There was no paper towels/scottex in the kitchen.
  The flat was not always warm, I would recommend raising the temperature in the evening hours as it was not adjustable.
  I found a corkscrew as a balcony clip in the bedroom, if it had fallen down it would have been dangerous for people walking down the street.

  What could be improved: The apartment was not clean everywhere, dust on equipment and stains on the couch, so could not sit on the couch. Also the host arrived 30 minutes late to give the keys, so we lost half an hour of our vacation.

  quite a central apartment, new, with most amenities. the building is historical and not in best condition, no elevator. The host was helpful and in contact with us. A lot of nice places around, a walking distance from Moscova
