Here’s where staying in Sempione really pays off. You’re walking distance from Parco Sempione, which I’d argue is one of Milan’s most underrated spots for an evening stroll or morning run. The Arco della Pace is right there, and honestly, it’s magical at sunset without the crowds you get at the Duomo. Plus, you’ve got that authentic neighborhood vibe — real Milanese life happening around you, not just tourist central.

Getting Around

The metro connections from this area are actually pretty solid, though you’ll want to factor in about 15-20 minutes to reach the main fashion district or cathedral area. What I love though is that you can walk to Brera in about the same time, and that neighborhood has some of the city’s best aperitivo spots. There’s also decent parking nearby if you’re driving, which — let’s be real — is not something you can say about most central Milan locations.

  Location was excellent, in a very pretty part of the city. Lots of restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores nearby. The apartment is big, comfortable for even 6 people. Kitchen is well equipped.

  Location is very good. The apartment is big, spacious and clean. Host is very responsive and accommodative.

  Location is simply unbeatable.
  The apartment is perfectly styled and incredibly spacious.
  
  What could be improved: Entering the first time was a little frustrating as you need an internet connection and the signal in front of the apartment house is pretty much inexistent. There is no way to find out internet WiFi name or passwords to at least work around the issue.
  So you have to contact the owner whom has a wrong phone number on the confirmation email.
  So… a little nightmare we did get around.

  What could be improved: Lack of parking was stressful. If you have a luggage, it’s a hassle to park in a private garage and move family + bags around.
  
  Depending on the price you pay, it’s an expensive stay for a location not near city Center, and far from train station (15 min walk).
