This three-star property sits on the first floor of a typical Milanese building, and while it might feel a bit understated at first, there’s something refreshingly authentic about the whole setup. The Stazione Centrale Advantage

Here’s the thing about staying near Milan’s central station — you’re basically connected to everything. I could walk to Stazione Centrale in about three minutes (I actually timed it), which means hopping on the Malpensa Express to the airport or catching trains to other Italian cities is ridiculously easy. The Porta Garibaldi district is just a short metro ride away, and honestly, being slightly removed from the absolute tourist center gives you more of a local vibe.

The Apartment Experience

The apartment I stayed in felt more like borrowing a friend’s place than checking into a hotel. Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which — let me tell you — is a game changer when you want to grab fresh produce from the nearby markets and make your own breakfast. The room was clean and functional, nothing fancy but everything worked perfectly. You’ve got proper storage space, decent Wi-Fi, and those tall Milanese windows that let in tons of natural light.

Neighborhood Life

What I really appreciated was how the area feels genuinely residential. There’s a great little restaurant around the corner that serves proper Milanese risotto (the locals actually eat there, which is always a good sign), and you’ll find everything from pharmacies to grocery stores within a few blocks. The streets can get a bit busy during rush hour, but that’s just Milan being Milan — part of the city’s energy, really.

Look, Emme Apartments isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works so well.   Everything was fine. We had great 3 days in Milano with Emme Apartments 🙂 Localisation was good because we have access to every public transport in a few minutes from apartments. Strongly recommended.

  Very close to the railway station, very convenient no need to carry bags far. Quiet, clean, and lots of good restaurants nearby.

  Very clean, nice designed and well equipped apartment including kitchen's accessories
  It is 5 minutes walk from the central station of Milano and it's food market so the location is very good.
  
  What could be improved: The aircondition is not powerfull enough so the apartment remained not very cool, so if the weather is hot it might be a problem.
  You can not arrive early than 14:00 (check in time) and you can only leave your baggage after 11:00 (check out time) if you pay 10 euros.

  Location was convenient as it was behind the central station. Apartment was beautiful and fully equipped, it has a nice bay window that we love. Bathroom was nicely done up too.
  
  What could be improved: We had some issues upon entering but the host managed to get it sorted within minutes after we made a video call.
