Location & Getting Around

The Ripamonti Corvetto area isn’t exactly where most tourists land, but that’s actually what I loved about it. You’re in a real Milan neighborhood where locals grab their morning coffee and kids walk to school. The Brenta metro station is literally underground — I mean, you can practically roll out of bed and onto the green line, which gets you to the Duomo in about 15 minutes. No fighting through crowds of tourists just to leave your hotel.

The Space

What really works here is how they’ve designed each room to feel like a proper studio rather than your typical cramped hotel setup. The kitchenette isn’t just for show — it’s actually functional, which saved me a fortune on breakfast and late-night snacks. The underground location might sound odd, but the rooms get plenty of light through clever design, and honestly, you barely notice you’re below street level once you’re settled in.

Here’s what I appreciated most: the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay work. They’ll point you toward the good local spots (there’s this amazing bakery two blocks over that locals queue up for), and they’re quick to sort out any issues. The parking situation is way better than most places in Milan — actually having a guaranteed spot in this city is worth its weight in gold, trust me.

  The room was spacious, with beautiful interior design. Very clean and comfortable. Right near the subway, with lots of stores around. The neighbourhood was very nice and it was really easy to get to the city center. We appreciated the amenities, like the shampoo, tooth paste etc in the bathroom and the complementary snacks.

  Wonderful apartment, conveniently located near the metro. There’s a supermarket nearby, and the place was exceptionally clean. Highly recommended!

  The host is such a nice guy, helped us with the program in the city and also suggested great restaurants/bars. Location is great, metro station Brenta is literally 200 metres or less away from the apartment. It is a yellow line, which takes you to Duomo or Central Station for instance. Apartment itself is fully renovated, full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, beds are nice enough and new ice cold AC.
  Close to no noise inside, shades were very good.
  Grocery Conad is 300 metres away.
  For the price we paid, absolute luxury.
  /170€ per person for 5 nights plus the city tax 30€/
  
  What could be improved: No elevator is a bummer because apartment is on the 3rd floor but little exercise never hurts.

  The apartment is really nice, just renovated. In the kitchen you had everything you needed, including olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee etc. There was also a goodie bag, with small bags of chips and other stuff. The location is great, few minutes to the Brenta metro station, there is at least two supermarkets near, other one is 24/7 open. Short metro ride to centre. The owner was super friendly and gave me some tips for sightseeing. Nice place to stay!
  
  What could be improved: The bed wasn’t the most comfortable.
