The entrance feels more like stepping into a well-appointed residential building than a typical hotel, which makes sense since these are proper apartment-style accommodations.

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re in Stazione Centrale, which sounds touristy but really isn’t. It’s where actual Milanese people live and work, about a 10-minute walk from the main train station. You know what that means? Real cafés where locals grab their morning espresso, not the overpriced tourist traps near the Duomo. The metro connections are solid too, so getting to Milan‘s center takes maybe 15 minutes on the yellow line.

Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which honestly saved me a fortune during my stay. I mean, Milan isn’t exactly budget-friendly for dining out every meal. The room I stayed in felt spacious by European standards — you can actually open your suitcase without rearranging all the furniture. The design is clean and modern without being sterile, sort of that Scandinavian-meets-Italian aesthetic that’s everywhere now but actually works here.

What you will appreciate is how quiet everything is, especially considering you’re in a busy part of the city. The soundproofing actually works, which is rarer than you’d think in older Milan buildings.

  I had a fantastic stay here! The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location is absolutely ideal – just steps away from the train station, which made getting around incredibly convenient.   We booked a 4 bedroom unit which was a very comfortable fit for 7 of us. Spacious kitchen and dining area was just perfect for our group size.

  Good stay at Gaffurio Apartments. The location is ideal if you want to be close to Milano Centrale, the apartment was spacious and clean, and the host was helpful and responsive.

  Location is excellent. It is located near the train station and also the tube / railway station. Staff Sajeev is excellent. The environment of the room is comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy and we were really happy to live for four days. The sofa bed was set nicely for my girl and she just loved it.
  
  What could be improved: The television is not really working on YouTube or Netflix but that’s alright. Sajeev had helped out and we could get access to YouTube anyway.
