Cosy Studio Milano-Brera Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Cosy Studio Milano-Brera, you immediately understand why they chose that name — it’s exactly what you’d expect from a well-designed studio in one of Milan‘s most artistic neighborhoods. The three-star property sits right on Via Pontaccio, and honestly, the location does most of the heavy lifting here. You’re literally steps away from the cobblestone streets of Brera, where locals still argue about which aperitivo spot serves the best Negroni.
The Space
The studio room itself is compact but thoughtfully arranged — I mean, this is Milan, so you’re not expecting a palazzo suite at this price point. What impressed me was how they’ve maximized every corner without making it feel cramped. The kitchenette is actually functional (not just for show like some places), and you’ll appreciate having it when you want to grab groceries from the local markets instead of eating out every meal. The design leans modern with clean lines, though it’s more IKEA-smart than designer-chic.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s where this place really shines — Via Pontaccio puts you right in the heart of Brera without the tourist chaos of the Duomo area. You can walk to Pinacoteca di Brera in about three minutes, and the Navigli district is close enough for evening drinks but far enough that you won’t hear party noise all night. The neighborhood has that perfect mix of art galleries, vintage shops, and the kind of cafés where you’ll see the same faces every morning.
Practical Details
Getting around is straightforward — Lanza metro station is a short walk away, connecting you to the rest of Milan without much fuss. The building itself is typical Milanese architecture, which means charming but also means you might be climbing some stairs (worth checking if mobility is a concern). I noticed the WiFi actually works well, which isn’t always a given in these older buildings, and the shower has decent water pressure — small things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.
Why Guests Appreciate It
Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with amenities or knock-your-socks-off service, but it delivers on its promise. You’re paying for the location and a clean, functional space to sleep and store your stuff while you explore Milan. The 7.3 rating reflects exactly that — it’s solid, reliable, and well-positioned. If you’re the type of traveler who spends most of your time out exploring rather than lounging in your room, and you want to wake up in one of Milan’s most atmospheric neighborhoods, it’s honestly hard to beat for the price.

Reviews of Cosy Studio Milano-Brera
Passable – Xuechen from China – 22 June 2025 (5/10)
The check-in experience was fine.
What could be improved: But after returning, I have been constantly asking for the invoice. It has been over ten days now, and I have sent three reminder emails, but I haven't received any response. I cannot understand why it takes so long to issue an invoice; I have never encountered such a situation before. This experience has been really poor.Pleasant – Gryta from Lithuania – 24 November 2024 (6/10)
Peefect and safe location.
What could be improved: It was very cold and not comfortable.
The price does not correspond to the quality.I do not recommend it for business travelers. Obtaining an invoice for the entire amount is a pain. – Sebastian from Poland – 8 November 2024 (1/10)
The person who took me to the premises was very helpful and clearly explained how to get the keys. I have no objections on this matter.
What could be improved: I do not recommend it for business travelers. Obtaining an invoice for the entire amount spent is a real pain, even though you provided your invoice details during registration. In fact, the property is managed by cleanbnb and should not be listed on Booking, but on AirBnB. This is not a hotel.A cozy attic apartment in the center of Milan. – Alexander from United States – 17 September 2024 (7/10)
Loved the coziness of the property and how much it felt like someone’s apartment you’re staying at for a couple days. There is also an elevator for most of the journey upstairs, which was helpful with luggage. Great, central location.
What could be improved: It’s definitely very tight, so two days felt plenty. The AC was okay but on the weaker side. There was only one roll of toilet paper and no extra so I ran out and had to buy more myself. The shower is in the middle of the bathroom, which was not ideal but okay.Great localization and a perfectly clean place – Gudzinska-adamczyk from Poland – 15 August 2024 (8/10)
Great localization, very close to Pinacoteca Brera. Really clean place, designed in a very smart way to make a relatively small space as comfortable as can be-and equipped like a full size apartment. I also loved the AC 🙂
What could be improved: A bit delayed communication about a problem with the door lock-I finally figured out myself that to take the key out after closing the door you need to push the door backwards after you’ve turned the key. But I understand that flat owners have a life too, other things happen and it wasn’t a major issue. So I’m only writing about it to help potential future guests with the key 🙂Might not be suitable for everyone. – Seana from United States – 23 July 2024 (4/10)
The sheets and towels were clean.
Very centrally located.
Good communication by the owner.
What could be improved: Very small, made even smaller by the slanted ceiling.
It could have been cleaner.
Some stairs with luggage was inconvenient.
No bed, mattress was on the floor.Very good – Jiarong from Australia – 22 June 2024 (8/10)
The location is perfect. I didn’t realise how close this is to many restaurants and some shopping area. The vibe of the studio is nice and cosy, though you can tell it’s a bit dated. The property manager is friendly and instructions to access is clear.
What could be improved: The attic celling above the bed is really low – not huge problem but in case you are annoyed. Bathroom is tiny and I didn’t like how you need to access toilet via the shower space. Also no bin in the bathroom/in general. The elevator is the narrowest I’ve seen from my Europe trip, about the width of a medium suitcase. It’s definitely usable though.Excellent stay, once I figured out how to navigate the space. – Elisa from United States – 4 May 2024 (9/10)
The location was perfect.
What could be improved: The only issue is that a quarter of the room is not really accessible because of the sloped roof. It is bright and comfy for sleeping, but to small to. hang out in. it forces you to go out and see Milan. The Location is Perfect – Bryan from Spain – 19 April 2024 (10/10)
Everything
Excellent, cute and conveniently located apartment. I truly recommend! – Angelina from Australia – 15 January 2024 (10/10)
The area, the easy access to everything. The cute apartment.
What could be improved: Nothing.
