The neighborhood has this authentic residential feel that you just don’t get in the touristy areas, and I actually found myself enjoying the morning routine of locals heading to work.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually thought about how travelers live, not just sleep. You’ve got a proper kitchen setup — I mean, not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation, but actual counter space and everything you need if you want to grab fresh produce from the local market. The balcony (and yes, there really is one) became my favorite spot for morning coffee, looking out over the quiet residential streets.

Here’s what I love about Cimiano — you’re close enough to zip into central Milan in about 20 minutes on the M2, but far enough out that you’re paying normal prices for groceries and coffee. How quiet it gets at night, which is something you definitely can’t say about staying near Duomo.

  Mi è piaciuta la posizione perché vicino alla metro
  
  What could be improved: La sera abbiamo contattato il proprietario perché il letto era sporco, nella doccia c’erano capelli, sul tappeto c’erano capelli e il ricambio presentava delle macchie gialle. Ci ha detto che non riusciva a farci avere un ricambio pulito e abbiamo dormito seduti su un divano. Abbiamo chiesto un rimborso delle restanti notti e ci hanno detto che avrebbero pulito l’appartamento ma che nn potevano rimborsare e che saremmo dovuti rimane li. Ci hanno fatto un rimborso ma non era quello che avevamo chiesto noi perché volevamo andare via per prendere un altro appartamento. Parlare con il proprietario è impossibile perché comunicano solo tramite Whatapp. Abbiamo chiesto la password del Wi-Fi e non ci è stata data nessuna risposta. C’è scritto che da un certo orario bisogna fare silenzio ma durante la notte ci sono state grida continue provenienti dall’appartamento di sopra.
  NON LO CONSOGLIO!!!
