GuestHost – Corso Lodi Cozy Apartment with balcony Overview
First Impressions
Walking into GuestHost – Corso Lodi Cozy Apartment with balcony, you immediately get that “home away from home” feeling that’s honestly pretty rare in Milan. This four-star apartment sits in the Ripamonti Corvetto area, and I’ll be straight with you — it’s not the touristy center, but that’s actually what makes it special. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, with thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about your stay.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re in a real Milanese neighborhood where locals actually live and work. The Ripamonti Corvetto area gives you authentic Milan without the tourist markup, and honestly, couples seem to get this (they rate the location 9.0, which is pretty impressive). You’ve got the Corvetto metro station nearby, so getting into the city center is straightforward, but you can also just wander the local streets and find those neighborhood trattorias that don’t have English menus. Recent guests have been rating the location 8.7, and I mean, once you experience how easy it is to live like a local here, you’ll understand why.
The Apartment & Balcony
The apartment itself strikes that perfect balance between cozy and functional — not too cramped, not unnecessarily spacious. What really sold me, though, was stepping out onto that balcony. It’s not huge, but it’s exactly what you need for your morning espresso or an evening aperitivo (and trust me, you’ll want both). The whole place feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together, with enough character to feel special but practical enough that you can actually relax. You know what I mean — sometimes vacation rentals are so precious you’re afraid to touch anything.
Living Like a Local
This is where the GuestHost experience really shines — you’re not just visiting Milan, you’re temporarily living in it. Having a proper kitchen means you can hit the local markets (there’s a great one just a short walk away) and actually cook with Italian ingredients. The neighborhood has this wonderful rhythm to it — morning coffee at the corner bar, evening strolls when the locals are out, that sort of thing. It’s the kind of setup where you find yourself planning to come back because you’ve discovered your own little corner of the city.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Milan can be expensive and overwhelming, especially if you stick to the obvious tourist areas. What makes this place work is that it gives you space to breathe while still being connected to everything that matters. The combination of a genuine neighborhood location, thoughtful amenities, and that balcony (seriously, don’t underestimate how nice it is to have outdoor space in Milan) creates something that feels more like staying with a well-organized friend than booking a generic accommodation. Plus, when couples are rating the location this highly, you know there’s something romantic about having your own little Milan hideaway.

What could be improved: DistanciaPleasant – Petya from Bulgaria – 21 October 2025 (6/10)
В непосредствена близост до спирка на метрото. Тихо и спокойно място. Широки стаи.
What could be improved: Осветлението в апартамента беше слабо, в кухнята нямаше осветление, гъба за миене на съдове и веро. В банята нямаше тапа за ваната, душът много пръскаше и всичко ставаше мокро.Pleasant – Olha from United Kingdom – 11 October 2025 (6/10)
Convenient location, quiet area. The metro station is very close, and the apartment has high ceilings. There was a washing machine and a laundry capsule, but no place to dry clothes. It's not very clear why there are two refrigerators.
What could be improved: The entire kitchen, all the dishes and the floor are sticky with grease. There is no kitchen towel or curtain in the bathroom. It is impossible to open the window in the bedroom due to external repairs to the facade. The sofa needs replacing, it is dirty and torn. There were 2 forks and 3 spoons left for three people.Una experiencia bastante buena – Paulina from Poland – 5 September 2025 (8/10)
Apartment with balcony, but you can not access balcony – Goran from Serbia – 13 June 2025 (6/10)
