GuestHost – West Studio sits in the San Siro district, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first arrived. The building itself is modern and understated — nothing flashy, but clean lines and a welcoming entrance that immediately puts you at ease. What struck me right away was how the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests arrive, not just going through the motions you sometimes get at larger hotels.

Location & Neighborhood

San Siro isn’t exactly the postcard part of Milan, but that’s actually what I loved about staying here. You’re in a real Milanese neighborhood where locals grab their morning espresso and kids play in the small parks. The metro connection is solid — you can reach the Duomo in about 20 minutes, which means you get the best of both worlds. Plus, if you’re a football fan, well, you know exactly why this area matters.

The Studio Experience

The room itself feels more like a well-designed apartment than a typical hotel space. There’s a proper kitchenette that’s actually useful (I made coffee there every morning), and the layout gives you room to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. The bed was comfortable — firm but not too firm — and the soundproofing was better than I expected for a four-star place in the city.

Practical Details

What I really appreciated were the small touches that show someone’s paying attention. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space, there’s decent storage, and the bathroom has proper water pressure. Parking can be arranged if you’re driving, though honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in. The area has everything you need within walking distance — grocery stores, cafes, and that authentic Milan vibe you can’t get in the touristy center.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to wow you with marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but that’s missing the point entirely. GuestHost – West Studio works because it feels like staying in Milan rather than just visiting it. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you consider the value — you’re getting space, location, and genuine hospitality without paying premium prices for unnecessary frills. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back after a long day exploring the city.

  Schöne, moderne Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen
  
  What could be improved: Die Wohnung liegt gute 8 km vom Zentrum entfernt und nicht wie angegeben 4 km. Vom Zentrum braucht man eine knappe Stunde.
  Das Registrierungsverfahren ist sehr aufwendig. Mich hat es sehr viel Zeit und Nerven gekostet.
  Die Lage ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Je nachdem, welche Metrostation man wählt absolut runtergekommen, Berge von Sperrmüll und Kleidung sowie Autowracks. Italiener wohnen hier gefühlt nicht. Nichtsdestotrotz fühlten wir uns sicher. Einfache, aber nette Cafés in der Nähe und ein Supermarkt.

  What could be improved: The prcedure is nor fair to the client. You have to send them a picture with the id and a selfie. Moreover, I couldn't complete the steps without paying the tourist tax first.
  In the house rules they recomand trat you smoke on the balcony but when yo get there, it"s an appartment without balcony.
  There is a crazy woman next door with two dogs who has been harrasșing us so we didn't feel that welcomed. There is no iron, no washing machine, f I didn"t like but especially the procedure. I find it very offensive. The air conditioning is not doing a great job so we couldn't rest. In

  Podobało mi się to że zdjęcia są takie same jak mieszkanie w rzeczywistości. Dosłownie 1:1
  Było bardzo czysto, łóżko wygodne, klima działa tak jak trzeba. Stadion w 18 minutach piechotą, a do metra 10 min. Był zestaw szampon + mydło, kawa i herbata, ekspres, czyli wszytsko jak w opisie a to jest wystarczająco na weekend w Mediolanie 🙂
  Również super kontakt z personelem, bardzo miła Pani Tatiana sprawiła, że nasz pobyt i check in był bardzo wygodny, dziękujemy 🙂
