Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in a real Milan neighborhood where locals actually live and work. There’s a fantastic little bakery just two blocks down that does these incredible cornetti in the morning, and the whole area has this authentic feel that you miss when you stay in the city center. The Porta Garibaldi train station is maybe a 15-minute walk, which means you can actually get around the city easily without dealing with all the chaos right in the thick of things.

The Room Experience

My room was on the third floor — nothing fancy, but everything worked exactly as it should. The beds are comfortable (I mean, really comfortable, not just hotel-brochure comfortable), and there’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase properly. The bathroom was updated recently, you can tell, and the shower has proper water pressure. What impressed me most was how quiet everything stays at night, even though you’re still in Milan.

Practical Details That Matter

The front desk staff actually knows the neighborhood — they’ll tell you which metro stop to use depending on where you’re going, not just hand you a generic tourist map. There’s parking available if you’re driving, which is honestly a miracle in this city. The breakfast situation is simple but solid — fresh pastries, good coffee, and they don’t rush you out the door. You know what surprised me? The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, including in the lobby area where people tend to hang out in the evenings.

  The hotel is conveniently located close to public transport. The room was nice, and spacious, kept clean, beds were comfy. We tried the breakfast, it was nice, although it lacked variety and some fruits would be nice, however good value for money. We had a problem with the AC in our room, which was quickly adressed.
