I mean, you can still get to the Duomo or shopping districts easily enough, but when you come back at night, you’re in a real neighborhood where kids play in small parks and locals walk their dogs.

The Room

My room was honestly bigger than I expected for a mid-range place in Milan. Nothing fancy, sure, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom actually had decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case). The decor leans toward simple and clean rather than trying too hard to be trendy. There’s something refreshing about a place that just focuses on getting the basics right instead of overwhelming you with unnecessary flourishes.

Daily Life Here

The breakfast situation is pretty straightforward — typical continental spread with decent coffee, which honestly is all I need to get going. What I really appreciated was the staff’s approach; they’re helpful without being hovering, and several of them actually know the neighborhood well enough to give solid recommendations. The small restaurant area doubles as a common space where you might end up chatting with other travelers, something that doesn’t happen much at bigger hotels.

Look, this isn’t the place you pick if you want to impress someone on Instagram. But if you’re the type of traveler who values being able to sleep well, explore a real part of the city, and not spend your entire budget on accommodation — well, that’s where Oasi Village Hotel actually shines. You’ll leave feeling like you got good value and maybe discovered a corner of Milan that most tourists never see.

  Location is excellent, 4/5 mins walk to Piola metro station in Green line (linked to Central Station). It felt safe, student area so busy.
  Hotel is perfect for a short stay, had all I needed. Clean, room was great size, shower was amazing.
