I mean, Milan can be exhausting to navigate, but from here you can actually walk to the Porta Garibaldi district pretty easily, and that whole area has some fantastic aperitivo spots that tourists usually miss. The restaurant scene around Isola is worth exploring, and you’re close enough to make it back without the metro stress.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was what you’d expect from a solid four-star place — well-designed, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that actually has decent water pressure (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue). What I appreciated was the attention to soundproofing; even being near the station area, things stayed pretty quiet at night. The air conditioning works properly too, which is honestly a relief during those sweltering Milan summers.

Service & Amenities

The staff here actually knows what they’re doing — they’re helpful without hovering, and the front desk folks seem to genuinely know the neighborhood well. There’s secure parking available, which is pretty much essential if you’re driving in Milan (though honestly, I’d recommend against it).   We needed a place close to Milano Centrale to make a morning flight. So this was a very convenient location. Metro was right there and easily took the subway to the Duomo area for lunch & sightseeing and then took another to Porto Genova for dinner on the canal.
