Via Sirte is tucked away enough that you’ll sleep well, but you’re literally a three-minute walk from Naviglio Grande where all the aperitivo action happens. The Porta Genova metro station is close by too — I walked it in about seven minutes, which makes getting to the Duomo or anywhere else in the city pretty straightforward.

The Room Experience

My room was compact but smartly designed, with clean lines and neutral tones that felt modern without being cold. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for a place in this price range, and the shower pressure was excellent (trust me, this matters after walking around Milan all day). What I really appreciated was the attention to details — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets, and blackout curtains that actually work.

Daily Rhythms

The breakfast setup is simple but solid — fresh pastries, decent coffee, and enough variety to get your day started properly. The staff at reception were genuinely helpful with directions and recommendations, not just the usual tourist traps. There’s no restaurant on-site, but honestly, you’re in Navigli — some of Milan’s best dining is right outside your door. I found myself grabbing morning coffee at the little bar around the corner most days anyway.

This place works because it knows exactly what it is — a well-run, no-nonsense hotel in one of Milan’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
