What really sets this place apart is that you’re getting an apartment-style setup rather than a typical hotel room. The kitchen area is actually functional — I made coffee there every morning and even picked up some groceries from the local market to prepare light meals. The space feels more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat than a sterile hotel, which I appreciated after long days exploring the city.

Practical Matters

The 8.9 rating makes sense when you experience the day-to-day details. The Wi-Fi actually works properly (you’d be surprised how many places mess this up), and there’s decent parking nearby if you’re driving — though honestly, you won’t need a car in Milan. The staff helped me figure out the best metro routes and gave me some solid restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps.

  What could be improved: We wanted to share some feedback based on our recent stay, as there were several issues that we found unacceptable given the price of the accommodation. This is mainly intended as a reference for the future
  • It was extremely loud at night
  • The apartment was very dirty — our feet were black after walking around, and we felt the need to clean the floors ourselves
  • The air conditioning barely functioned at first and eventually stopped working altogether
  • One of the shower controls was broken
  • A toilet was leaking and required constant fiddling with the flush button to stop the water
  • The kitchen was very small and not well-equipped
  • The walls were covered in scratches and stains and clearly in need of repainting
  • The balcony doors were difficult to close properly
  • Several lights were flickering
  • Many of the power sockets were loose or barely usable
  • The furniture looked modern but was of noticeably poor quality

  A környéken sok étterem és üzlet volt. Rövid utazással minden milánói nevezetesség könnyen elérhető volt.
  A szállás szépen berendezett, modern bútorokkal, kényelmes ággyal, két jól felszerelt fürdőszobával, konyhával.
  
  What could be improved: Az ablakok az utcára nem zártak jól. Közvetlen a szállás közelében éttermek vannak, ahol hajnalig hangos az élet.

  The apartment was great, it was very clean, the rooms were spacious, everything we needed was available. We felt very safe.
  
  What could be improved: Because we were close to bars and restaurants, it was extremely noisy at night. It was hard to sleep. I would recommend people bring their own earplugs.

  Very good area, Porta Venezia is the best! Cozy with many reastaurants and shops in the area.
  
  What could be improved: I hadn't received the code to the apartement door for the key box. There was a link missing in my e-mails that should have had a video with description of how to get into the flat, that video has the code displayed.
  
  You get a link to open the main door to the street, that link worked so I got in from the street into the buildning. If one can write things in that same portal the code to the apartment door could have been communicated in the same place.
  
  I had to phone the host to get the code. They answered inside 10 minutes of my call – you have to use whatsapp to contact them! All went well at the end.
