You know what’s great about staying on Via Argelati? You’re literally a five-minute walk from the canal scene that makes Navigli famous. I mean, step outside and you’re already breathing in that authentic Milan vibe — aperitivo bars, vintage shops, and those evening crowds that spill onto the sidewalks. The Porta Genova metro station is close enough that getting to the Duomo or shopping districts becomes pretty effortless, but far enough that you’re not dealing with tourist chaos at your doorstep.

The Apartment Setup

What you’re getting here is essentially a well-equipped apartment rather than a traditional hotel room. The kitchen setup is actually quite decent — I was able to make proper morning coffee and even tackled a simple pasta dinner one night (because, well, when in Milan). The space feels lived-in rather than showroom-perfect, which somehow makes it more comfortable. Storage is adequate, and the Wi-Fi works reliably, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to navigate a new city.

Daily Life Here

There’s no on-site restaurant or fancy amenities, but that’s kind of the point — you’re staying in a neighborhood where the real action happens outside your door. The staff handles check-in efficiently, though don’t expect round-the-clock concierge service. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area (like most of Milan, really), so I’d honestly recommend using public transport instead. The apartment stays reasonably quiet despite being in such a lively district, which surprised me given how thin walls can be in these older buildings.

  Чудова локація, цікавий інтерʼєр, зручний матрац і подушки. Достатня кількість рушників.
  
  What could be improved: В помешканні між спальнею і ванною кімнатою, був відірваний паркет, що створювало незручності. В квартирі не було елементарного- води в пляшці і жодного пакету чаю чи кави. Дивно, бо мене завжди вражала гостинність господарів в Мілані. Ще одна не зручність, дуже тонкі чи то стіни, чи перекриття. Вночі прокинулася, бо було враження, що хтось ходить по квартирі. Коли провірила квартиру, зрозуміла, що сусіди. Якщо по правді, то трохи злякалася. Попереджайте про це своїх гостей, а особливо жінок, котрі подорожують самі.

  Tolle lage, super Ausstattung, bequemes Bett und super schnelle Antwort auf Fragen und mögliche Probleme. Check in und Schlüssel Übernahme waren super einfach und gut erklärt.

  Die Moskitonetze sollten repariert werden, leider war ohne kein wirkliches Lüften möglich.

  What could be improved: Nonostante l’appartamento fosse pulito, segnalo un problema di formiche che interessa (direi esclusivamente) il lato bagno/camera da letto. Ne ho trovate anche dentro la valigia poggiata a terra..oltre questo “problema” è un ottimo posto dove soggiornare.

  The apartment is atmospheric and charming. It is just around the corner from the Navigli channel with all its pizzerias, restaurants, and bars to enjoy, but no noise from the bars is heard in the apartment, even on a Friday.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment seemed neglected – so many small things were broken (the toaster, the mosquito net in the living room, and the toilet paper holder in the bathroom). The lamps in the bedroom chandelier were almost falling off, and the bathroom faucet had parts missing. I hope that these get fixed in the future. The sofas baldy needed cleaning, and there were no cushions. You can hear all that the people in the neighboring apartments are doing. The management also was not very caring: the blankets were way too thin, so we asked for more blankets and were told that the only way for us to get them was to pay an extra 60+ euros cleaning fee. Super unhelpful.

  this a beautiful property with everything you need and located in one of my favourite neighbourhoods in Milano.
  
  What could be improved: the check in process can be difficult if you are arriving later in the day as you will need to organise meeting someone at the apartment and you can be waiting for a little bit. however if you arrive in the day I’m sure it’s much easier!
