What you’re getting here is essentially a modern apartment with hotel-style management, and the room I stayed in felt more like a temporary flat than a typical hotel setup. The kitchenette was surprisingly well-equipped — I mean, you’ve got a proper stovetop, decent-sized fridge, and all the basics for cooking. The furnishings are clean and contemporary, nothing fancy but everything works as it should.

Location Reality Check

Here’s what they don’t always tell you about City Life — it’s modern and well-connected, but it’s not exactly the heart of Milan’s action. You’re about a 15-minute metro ride from the Duomo, which isn’t terrible, but you’ll definitely be commuting to see the main sights. The trade-off? The area around Porta Garibaldi station is actually pretty lively, with decent restaurants and that whole business district energy during the week.

Practical Details

The staff handles check-in smoothly, though it’s more like dealing with a property manager than a traditional hotel concierge — they’ll sort you out but don’t expect extensive local recommendations. Parking can be arranged if you’re driving, which is actually useful in this part of the city. The Wi-Fi works fine, and there’s decent natural light in most units, which matters when you’re spending time working or just hanging out.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to be anyone’s most memorable hotel stay, but it delivers exactly what it promises — a clean, functional space with that bit of independence you get from having your own kitchen. For the price point in Milan, especially if you’re staying several nights or traveling with family, it makes sense.   Новый кондоминиум с приятной собственной территорией. Очень удобное расположение для нас. Было удобно добираться как до выставочного центра, так и до центра города. Хороший район.

  This apartment was in an excellent location near the convention center. The place was very clean and well appointed.
  
  What could be improved: Air Conditioning did not work so was over 30C inside most of the stay. Entry was complicated with electronic codes.
  They assumed that guest would have working internet/data to receive entry instructions and activate door locks.

  It is a nice big apartment, with a load of natural light. Clean neighborhood you feel safe. The access to the metro lines is very close.

  I highly recommend the apartment. It is located in a stylish residential complex which is closed territory for strangers. The flat is newly furnished, it is big, the location is just super and you will find everything you need in the flat. We felt just like home. Also it has a great, big terrace with a big table.If you are travelling with a child it is ideal.
  
  What could be improved: The only negative thing was the flat was very dirty we had to clean it.

  What could be improved: Everything. After a 32 hour trip for 5 older woman we arrived to No toilet paper, no tea towels, no dish cloth, no dish scrubber, a huge pile dirty wet towels on bench, a huge ball of matted hair on the floor, dirty mouldy utensils in dishwasher, insufficient sheets for beds, no air conditioning, freezer door would not close because of too much ice therefore unable to use, advertised a sofa bed in one of the bedrooms- this was not fit for sleeping on, better off sleeping on the floor with a concrete block under your back, the spare bed in the other room rolled out from under the bed and only allowed for about 10 inch gap between beds. No toiletries as advertised. Communicated with the company on numerous occasion's who apologised profusely promised to send a cleaner but no one appeared. Just like all the comments made on this website, they apologise and promise to fix and never deliver. It sounds like we are just a bunch of complaining old women, but I assure you we are not. There was a lack of basic items you would expect from such an apartment. All the dining chairs are cheap folding chairs that are so low you nearly hit your chin on the table. The outside table has such a bend in it that makes it unstable to put anything on it.
  
  The keys were meant to be collected from some other place but "luckily" our flight was delayed and we arrived later than expected so we were able to collect the keys at the apartment. After 32 hours this saved further hassle. We received no communication on where to leave the key at the end of our stay so left them in the apartment and left it unlocked. The other problem with 5 of us and only having 1 set of keys proved a logistical nightmare.

  Check in instructions and process were easy to follow. Apartment is in very nice location, 3 mins walk from closest metro station. Also nice shopping mall nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Lack of A/C with 37 deg outisde. Italianway claimed it is due to high temperatures and the building electrical system as A/C is centralized. I asked the security guard and the problem with A/C was not there for other flats not managed by Italianway. When temperature dropped to 25 deg outside, A/C still did not work… Two people came to check A/C, did nothing more than I had done before. No solution provided, please stay away from this apartment if you want to have working A/C. Limited amount of basic amenities like toilet paper, dishwasher tabs, soap etc.

  What could be improved: There was very little in the apartment making everything more difficult for 2 nights stay. Usually there is the minimum amount if sugar coffee, some places also leave a small bottle of water… also it was not possible to open the balcony doors in the bedroom and the AC was not working…
