I spotted a couple of neighborhood cafes within a two-minute walk, the kind where the barista remembers your order after the second visit. The Duomo? About fifteen minutes on foot, but you’ll want to explore the maze of streets in between anyway. There’s decent parking nearby too, which anyone who’s driven in Milan will tell you is practically a miracle.

What Makes It Work

  It would’ve been great to have a bottle of water provided and tea/coffee sachets. There were only two toilet rolls provided and two shower/shampoo for our four night stay. Our bed linen was not changed and we were not given any fresh towels. Building alarm went off three times in the middle of the night and woke us. There was no electricity during this period but it was restored within a short time. We vacated the building but it’s seems that we were the only ones. There was no information available to us regarding the safety returning to the inside of the property which worried us.

  The location is great, 5 minutes walk to Doumo. The room and its bathroom are comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed (except for a tall mirror). The area is quiet yet in the center.
