10 KEYS MILANO Overview
First Impressions
10 KEYS MILANO sits in this quiet corner where Via Spartaco meets Via Andrea Maffei, and honestly, you might walk past it if you’re not paying attention. It’s not trying to announce itself with flashy signage or marble columns — the entrance is understated in that effortlessly Italian way. The lobby feels more like stepping into a well-designed friend’s apartment than a traditional hotel, which I mean as the highest compliment.
The Neighborhood Feel
Porta Vittoria isn’t where most tourists end up, and that’s exactly why it works so well. You’re about a fifteen-minute tram ride from the Duomo, but here you’ve got actual Milan happening around you — the kind where locals grab their morning coffee at the same bar every day and the pizzeria down the street has been run by the same family for decades. There’s a Metro stop close by, so getting around is actually pretty straightforward once you figure out the system.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully laid out — every inch had a purpose, which you appreciate in a city where space costs serious money. The bed was comfortable (firmer than what Americans might expect, but that’s standard here), and the bathroom was modern without being sterile. What I liked most was the attention to details like good lighting for reading and enough outlets in the right places. The air conditioning worked well during my summer visit, which isn’t always a given in older Milan buildings.
Daily Rhythms
Breakfast happens in a small space that feels intimate rather than cramped. It’s continental style with decent coffee — not the best espresso you’ll have in Milan, but certainly not the worst either. The staff seems to remember guests after a day or two, which creates this nice sense of familiarity. There’s a small restaurant area that serves dinner, though honestly, with all the incredible food options in the neighborhood, I found myself eating out most nights.
Why Guests Love It
This four-star hotel works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. You’re getting clean, comfortable accommodations in a real Milan neighborhood, with staff who actually seem to care about your stay. The price point makes sense for what you’re getting, and the location lets you experience the city like someone who lives here rather than just passes through. It’s the kind of place you’d book again without hesitation — not because it blew your mind, but because it got everything right in a quietly competent way that’s honestly harder to achieve than flashy perfection.

Reviews of 10 KEYS MILANO
Nice but very cold or very hot 🙁 – Abdulaziz from Saudi Arabia – 13 June 2025 (8/10)
Cleanliness.
Helpful staff.
Doors opening system.
What could be improved: Guests can not turn on/off the AC inside the room. The reception controls everything which is very wrong in my opinion.Very helpful friendly staff, great room and location but clunky access system – Sophie from Australia – 12 June 2025 (8/10)
Great location, comfortable facilities and parking
What could be improved: Not able to use gym on the weekend
Complicated access system needing to open an email, then link, the press button as well as taking a room keyEverything I was hoping for – Nathalie from France – 19 July 2024 (9/10)
Great price, very nice room, and very kind staff
What could be improved: The Aircon was malfunctioning (meaning we couldn’t adjust it ourselves and had to ask the staff). But I guess it’s a punctual issue, so I still think our stay was amazingYou feel very comfortable and are able to rest in a beautiful room – Yvan from Belgium – 28 February 2024 (9/10)
You feel very comfortable and are able to rest at this hotel
What could be improved: The entrance to the hotel could be improvedGreat stay in a very local and residential part of Milan that made exploring the city fantastic! – Anthony from Australia – 28 October 2023 (9/10)
Great little hotel in a really nice residential area, staff are friendly and it’s super clean.
We did have an issue with our Air Conditioner but they handled it very well. Would highly recommend
What could be improved: Room is bigger than expected, but perhaps the chair at the desk is a little too big and takes up a lot of room. Other than an issue with the AC it was very goodA Nice stay thanks to the staff. – Olivia from Luxembourg – 2 October 2023 (8/10)
The staff was quite helpful and kind. the room is comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. The products are from a famous brand and quite nice to use. The linen is soft. The room has a nice tea maker and tea selection. For us it was quiet the whole night. It is a decent location. Close to the trams.
What could be improved: The room decoration is on the “macho” style. There are weird pictures of blonde ladies on the wall in suggestive poses. The tea area was a little dusty.Wonderful stay and helpful staff – Rosemary from Australia – 15 July 2023 (8/10)
It was lovely and modern, beautiful decor & marble.
What could be improved: Perhaps just the location, but the tram was very close bySuperb – Emily from United States – 4 July 2023 (9/10)
