First Impressions

Kibilù – Via Guido D’Arezzo sits right in the heart of Milan’s modern City Life district, and honestly, it’s one of those places that surprises you. From the outside, you might think it’s just another apartment building, but step inside and you’ll find this three-star property has a surprisingly welcoming vibe. The lobby isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and functional — which pretty much sums up the entire place.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I really appreciated: you’re walking distance from the Fiera Milano exhibition center, which is perfect if you’re in town for business. The City Life shopping district is literally around the corner, and those gleaming skyscrapers you see everywhere in Milan photos? Yeah, they’re right there. The metro connections aren’t bad either — you can get to the Duomo in about 20 minutes, though honestly, I found myself taking taxis more often than I expected.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but thoughtfully designed, with a small kitchenette that actually came in handy for morning coffee and late-night snacks. Don’t expect marble bathrooms or fancy linens — this is practical accommodation done right. The bed was comfortable enough, and I slept well despite being on a busy street. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which honestly matters more than thread count when you’re visiting Milan in summer.

Practical Considerations

There’s no on-site restaurant, but you know what? That’s not really a problem. The surrounding area has plenty of dining options, from quick grab-and-go places to proper sit-down spots. Parking can be arranged, though like everywhere in Milan, it’ll cost you extra. The staff speaks decent English and they’re genuinely helpful — not overly chatty, but they’ll sort out whatever you need without making a big production of it.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Kibilù isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s refreshing. It’s clean, reasonably priced for Milan standards, and puts you right where you need to be if you’re doing business in the Fiera area or want easy access to modern Milan. I mean, you’re not getting spa treatments or concierge services, but you are getting a solid base for exploring the city. The free WiFi actually works well, which is more than I can say for some pricier places I’ve stayed in Italy.

Milan’s apartments welcome long stays with terrace views, museum access, and bike paths to hidden Leonardo da Vinci sites.

  Nice bed, spacious, equipped kitchen. Traditional atmosphere (building, tiles, cabinet, shutters etc.). Close to metro and tram stations.
  
  What could be improved: The system to open the doors, the key and online code is awful, we had to try many times because the door knob just turned around without opening. The bathroom and the shower was very small, without window and ventilation. It was quite hot in August (no AC, the fan is noisy, dusty, better not to use).

  The apartment was clean and the washing machine was great
  
  What could be improved: The instructions for getting into the apartment were a nightmare – I had to take screenshots of the instructions so that I could use the link at the same time – I was worried I was going to get stuck somewhere and not b able to get in or out.
  There was no aircon – I had just assumed there would be, knowing how hot Milan gets in summer – and the temperature was mid-30s. There were 2 very noisy and unstable fans which just moved the hot air around so I had to turn them off.
  The pillows were foam so got very hot and uncomfortable.
  The sofabed was made up even though I had said I would be on my own and so I couldn't use that room

  La cama de matrimonio y almohada cómodas. Presión y temperatura de la ducha correctas.
  Utensilios de la cocina perfecto.
  Pasamos un poco de calor, pero con los ventiladores se dormía bien, aunque uno de los ventiladores hacia bastante ruido.
  Metros muy cerca del alojamiento y se podía ir andando al centro
  
  What could be improved: El sofá cama bastante incomodo, se clavaban las barras o muelles.

  The location is good and reachable with Metro, Bus or walking distance with some attractions

  What could be improved: We booked an apartment for 4 people, and it was a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was definitively not suitable for 2 (kids in our case) at all so it should not be sold for a group of 4 people, despite the fact that the sofa bed has a thin and very uncomfortable mattress.
  
  The Apartment is a lot amortized, old and need restructuring so far you have the feeling it is dirty.
  
  The lockers of the apartment door are with digital unlocking so be aware not to run out of batery 😛

  Местоположение, тихая ,уютная квартира.
  Было шампунь, мыло,но если планируете остаться больше 2 дней, нужно покупать экстра.
  Есть магазины пешком 5-10 минут.
  Рынок тоже есть но мы не были там.
  
  What could be improved: Добрались поздно ночью, кровать для ребёнка не был готов, сами сделали.
  Не было хотя бы мыло для посуды, губки и салфетки.
  Думаю хотя бы для начала должна быть нужные предметы, особенно если гости первый раз и не знают никаких магазинов.

  La struttura è in un'ottima posizione, vicino alla metro e in una zona dove si può trovare di tutto. Il self check in è molto comodo, le istruzioni per l'accesso all'appartamento chiare.
  
  What could be improved: L'appartamento non era molto pulito e non troppo attrezzato. Non ci sono detergenti per la pulizia sia del bagno che delle stoviglie, non ci sono stracci per pulire o per asciugare. Abbiamo trovato solo una spugnetta in cucina. C'è una macchina del caffè ma è una Nespresso, praticamente inutilizzabile perché non ci sono le capsule. Noi ci siamo attrezzati comprando una Moka che fra l'altro, ci siamo dimenticati di portare a casa quindi i prossimi affittuari ce la troveranno 😃

  Il servizio è molto comodo, lo staff è presente alle necessità, l'appartamento dispone di tutto quello che ti serve per un breve soggiorno.
  
  What could be improved: Forse era carente di qualche prodotto di pulizia di minuteria, come stracci panni o scottex, che magari uno non si porta da casa,
  La pulizia a terra non era eccellente, ma non ho scelto il tipo di soggiorno per la qualità della pulizia ma per l'aspetto pratico che mi serviva. Cucina e lavatrice.
