There’s a decent restaurant scene within walking distance, plus you’re close enough to Porta Garibaldi that getting around the city becomes pretty effortless. I mean, you can walk to the Brera district if you’re feeling ambitious, or just hop on public transport.

The Space Itself

The room I stayed in was… well, it was functional in the best possible way. Think clean lines, decent space for Milan standards, and everything you need without extra frills. The beds are comfortable enough, and honestly, the windows let in good natural light — which matters more than you’d think when you’re dealing with those narrow Milan streets. It’s got that practical Italian approach where nothing’s wasted, but nothing essential is missing either.

Getting Around

What really worked for me was how easy it became to explore different parts of the city from here. You’re not stuck in the tourist bubble around the Duomo, but you’re also not stranded in some residential area where nothing happens. The metro connections are solid, and if you’re into walking (which you should be in Milan), you can actually discover parts of the city that most visitors miss completely. Parking isn’t terrible either, though let’s be real — you probably don’t want to drive in Milan anyway.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to be the most Instagram-worthy place you’ve ever stayed, but that’s sort of the point. It delivers exactly what it promises — a decent base in a genuine Milan neighborhood without breaking your budget. The 7.5 rating makes sense because it’s not trying to be something it’s not, and that honesty is actually refreshing. If you want to experience Milan like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through, this works really well.

  L'appartement est en très bon état. La salle de bain est ok.
  
  What could be improved: Le manque d'équipement, il faudrait une table de chevet supplémentaire avec au moins une lampe de chevet.
  Pas de couteau d'office ni de planche à découper, mais surtout pas de verre hormis 2 verres à vin.
  Pas de plat à four…pas de grille-pain.
  Pas de canapé (manque de place peut-être).
  Un peu + qu'une cuisine d'exposition ce serait top.
  Et aussi 2 TV sans câble d'antenne…bon nous n'étions pas là pour regarder la TV mais cela nous a fait sourire.

  Чистая и большая квартира. Современная кухня. Удобные кровати, и двуспальная, и двухъярусная. Понятный и простой путь получения ключей. Не совсем очевидно, где находилась квартира, но хозяин помог быстро сориентироваться. В ванной бойлер, его хватает на 2,5 человека помыться.
  
  What could be improved: В квартире душно, так как окно всего одно.
  Как писали в предыдущих комментариях – очень слышно все, что происходит за дверью, так как в соседних квартирах идет ремонт, а рабочие начинают работать около 7:30 утра.
  Заменить одеяло на кроватях.
  В остальном все хорошо.

  Posizione eccellente, appartamento carino, ottimo per 4 persone e perfetto per girare in centro a piedi (il Duomo è a 25min) o con metro e tram, che sono a 2 Passi.
  Il proprietario risponde rapidamente tramite messaggio anche se non si preoccupa molto di fornire informazioni dettagliate in anticipo.
  
  What could be improved: Le indicazioni su come ottenere le chiavi della struttura sono sbagliate: vi è un lock ma il proprietario per qualche motivo non aveva pensato di dirmelo prima che arrivassimo all'appartamento – per fortuna risponde in tempi rapidi.
  L'appartamento ha un problema con le prese / l'elettricità: l ultima notte è saltata la corrente dopo che abbiamo acceso il forno. Non c'é stato modo di ri-ottenere elettricità prima di andare via (il quadro elettrico generale è accessibile solo con la chiave che noi non avevamo). Il proprietario è stato contattato ed ha risposto subito senza poter risolvere il problema.

  La ubicación; si vas con tu perro, tienes un parque gigante para perros al lado. Además esta a 15 minutos andando del centro.
  
  What could be improved: Es interior, no tiene microondas y tampoco colgador para secar la ropa y el armario no tiene barra para colgar, ni perchas.

  Las camas son muy cómodas, tanto la grande como las literas. Está cerca de la estación de metro Moscova, andando 5 minutos. El aire acondicionado es muy importante cuando en la calle tienes 36 grados. El último día Andrea nos dejó hacer el check out por la tarde y nos salvó de andar dando vueltas con las maletas por ahí.
