When I first stumbled upon Luxy Appartment Close Navigli, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but the location more than makes up for it. This apartment-style accommodation sits right along Via Alzaia Naviglio Pavese, which means you’re literally steps away from one of Milan‘s most vibrant neighborhoods. Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re in the heart of the Navigli district, but just far enough from the main Naviglio Grande chaos to actually get some sleep. The canals are right there when you want that aperitivo scene (and trust me, you will), but you can escape back to your quiet corner when the crowds get too much. I mean, most tourists stick to the area around Porta Genova, so this spot feels like you’ve found something the guidebooks haven’t totally blown up yet.

The Space Itself

The room — well, it’s more like a proper apartment — gives you way more space than your typical Milan hotel. You’ve got a kitchenette that’s actually functional (not just for show), which honestly saved me a fortune on breakfast and late-night snacks. The setup works perfectly if you’re planning to stay more than just a couple nights, or if you’re traveling with someone and need room to spread out without getting on each other’s nerves.

Getting Around

What really sold me on this place was how easy it is to get everywhere. You know how Milan can be tricky with transportation? Well, from here you can walk to the Navigli nightlife, catch a tram into the city center, or — and this is key — there’s decent parking if you’re brave enough to drive in Milan. The Porta Genova station is close enough that you’re not dragging your luggage forever, but far enough that you don’t hear trains all night.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea — if you want a traditional hotel with room service and a concierge, keep looking. But if you want to live like a local for a few days, with the freedom to grab groceries at the nearby market and cook your own meals, it’s pretty perfect. The 8.4 rating makes sense when you factor in the value you’re getting — more space, better location than most hotels in your price range, and you’re staying in one of the neighborhoods where actual Milanese people hang out, not just tourists taking Instagram shots of the Duomo.

  The apartment is very nice, like in the photos. The bath tub with the mirror is a nice touch. Overall, a good experience
  
  What could be improved: The toilet upstairs was smelly, don't know if it was because it wasn't properly cleaned or because of something else.
  The location is quite close to Navigli, as marketed, but the neighborhood itself doesn't have much to offer, like markets.

  Beautiful big apartment where you can easily stay with 4 persons. It was very clean as well. The owner was very friendly and tried to help us with all our questions (e.g. where to park the car, how to get to the city centre, ….) Instructions for how to enter the apartment were very clear.

  We loved everything about the property the pictures does not do it justice as it’s extremely comfortable feels like a home away from home, with everything super clean and everything we needed plus more. There is nothing we did not like or enjoy about the apartment the only downfall was that we had to leave. We are extremely happy and grateful with the host Ana as she’s so helpful and sweet she replies quick to any message we sent her and always up to help and cater to us, she speaks multiple languages which made it very easy to communicate with. We needed to extend our stay which she allowed and made it very easy and quick to do. We are so happy with our stay and if we ever need to go back to Milan we will without a doubt be back to Ana’s apartment and we will always recommend the apartment to anyone we know if they plan to go to Milan.   Everything was perfect! Absolutely stunning apartment with great location! The area has great restaurants within a walking distance and a pizzeria and a bar literally in the same yard! There are bus and metro nearby. The apartment was clean, tidy and spacious! Fully equipped if you want to cook yourself a meal. The balcony is stunning and has plenty of flowers – it’s the perfect spot for a morning cafe! The host, Ana is incredible, solar and friendly! Definitely, she knows how to make you feel at home! I do recommend this place if you want to enjoy Milano and have a spa-alike experience!
