The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the heart of Milan without dealing with tourist crowds every second. Via Andegari sits in this sweet spot between the Quadrilatero della Moda and Brera — I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from La Scala and maybe ten from the Duomo. But here’s the thing locals know: this particular street stays quieter than the main drags, so you get that authentic Milanese neighborhood feel while still being steps from everything that matters.

The Rooms

The room I stayed in was what I’d call understated luxury — clean lines, rich fabrics, and these floor-to-ceiling windows that flood everything with natural light. The marble bathroom alone could probably be featured in a design magazine, and the rainfall shower is honestly something you’ll think about long after checkout. What really impressed me was the attention to small details: the bedside controls actually work intuitively, and there’s plenty of space to spread out your things without feeling cramped.

Dining and Amenities

The spa here is compact but incredibly well-designed — they’ve got this vitality pool that somehow makes you forget you’re in the middle of a busy city. For dining, the restaurant Seta has earned its Michelin stars for good reason; chef Antonio Guida creates these dishes that feel both innovative and deeply rooted in Italian tradition. I actually ended up eating there twice during my stay, which tells you something since Milan has no shortage of incredible dining options.

  Can a hotel possibly get any better? Off-the-charts design, service, room, breakfast and location. Chic in its design but warm in its hospitality. It's a beautiful masterclass in hotel service and I cannot wait until I get the opportunity to stay there again.
