Look, I’ve stayed in Milan plenty of times, and location really is everything here. You’re on Via delle Asole, which means you can walk to the cathedral in about three minutes — I timed it. But here’s what I love: you’re tucked away from the tourist crowds that swarm the main piazzas. The La Scala opera house is a five-minute stroll, and if you need to hop on the metro, Duomo station is right there. You know what’s really handy? There are actual grocery stores and local cafés on the surrounding streets, not just tourist traps.

The Suites

Each room here is technically a suite, which means you get proper living space — not just a bed crammed next to a tiny desk. The design leans contemporary Italian without being flashy about it, and the windows are surprisingly good at blocking street noise. I mean, you’re in central Milan, so there’s always going to be some city sounds, but it’s totally manageable. The bathrooms are well-appointed with decent water pressure, which isn’t always a given in these historic buildings.

Practical Details

The staff actually knows the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward that little wine bar around the corner or tell you which entrance to use for the Galleria when it’s crowded. There’s no on-site restaurant, but honestly, you don’t need one when you’re surrounded by some of Milan’s best dining options. They do serve a continental breakfast that’s perfectly adequate, though I usually ended up grabbing espresso and cornetti from the café down the street because, well, when in Milan.

What really sets this place apart is how it strikes that balance between being central and being peaceful.   Excellent location, 5mins from the Duomo and the metro and tram stops, spacious, new (or at least renovated or very well maintained) and very clean.
  Toiletries in the bathroom, coffee and tea in the kitchen and water in the fridge.
  It was very nice move that there was a map for is in the apartment.
  Also, one of the most important things was that the host was very friendly, helpful and always available!
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing serious to mention but if I can find any, I would like to have something in the bathroom to hang the towels 😊
