The building itself has that classic Milanese charm, tucked along Via Cenisio where you get a real feel for how locals actually live.

The Space

This three-star apartment setup really works well for families or groups who want more than just a hotel room. With two full bathrooms (thank goodness), six people aren’t tripping over each other in the morning. The suite layout gives everyone some breathing space, which I’ve learned is crucial when you’re traveling with kids or spending more than a couple nights somewhere. The whole place feels lived-in rather than sterile — you know what I mean?

Location & Neighborhood

Sempione is one of those neighborhoods that feels authentically Milanese without being touristy. You’ve got the M5 metro line right there (hence the name), which connects you to the city center in about fifteen minutes. But honestly, I found myself walking more than expected — Porta Garibaldi is close enough that you can stroll over for dinner, and the Brera district isn’t far either. There’s a good mix of local cafes and actual grocery stores nearby, not just souvenir shops.

Practical Details

The apartment handles the basics really well — the kitchen setup means you can actually prepare meals if you want to save money or just need familiar food for picky eaters. I mean, Milan can get expensive, and having the option to make breakfast or pack snacks makes a difference. The two bathrooms situation can’t be overstated if you’re traveling with family — it eliminates so much stress during those rushed morning sightseeing preparations.

  What could be improved: It was very hot and we didn’t know how to turn off the heath or it was broken

  Very good neighborhood, especially for families. Tram stop is very close, and Aldi is about 50 meters away. Staff are extremely helpful. Internet works well. It would be even better if there were some kitchen essentials provided, such as a few tea bags, sugar, cooking oil, etc.
  
  What could be improved: The location is far from the main attractions, but overall the stay was okay because, as I mentioned, there is a tram stop near the building. Another issue is cleanliness: two humidity stains on the walls that need attention, and I noticed that previous guests had also mentioned this problem, but still unresolved. We also found some hair on one of the bed covers.

  What could be improved: First of all it was very difficult to check in as the code they sent us was wrong and we couldn’t open the lock, I had to call few times as they didn’t answer, asked me to send messages with WhatsApp while we were waiting in the courtyard with two small children in the heat it was 36 degree with loads of misquotes around us. The guy was not happy I was calling and told me that he was in a meeting also he had other customers to take care of.
  The floor was not clean and we had to clean ourselves, but there was no mop or hoover, there were small cockroaches inside the bathroom also in kitchen and living room. In the evening we had a power cut and as the air conditioning did not work it was very hot inside. The flat is a basement with just little windows high up and 4 dangerous step between entrance level where the kitchen is and the sitting room.
  In the main bedrooms only one has a double bed the other is a sofa bed which were uncomfortable and noisy.
  Although check out time was 11am and we left at 10.30am we were being asked when we were leaving earlier and a boy was trying to get into the flat by shortly after 10am. Thus we were made to feel that we were a necessity to the business rather than valued customers.

  Spacious, adaptive, comfortable. The staff was a big bonus point who was really responsive.
  
  What could be improved: Lack of amenities, better with more kitchen stuffs, no washing machine but still fine for us. Furthermore, there will be a little commission fee if you pay for the tax after without beforehand notice so we were quite uncomfortable, but the staff apologise us right away and helped us a lot with the checkin.

  The apartment is very clean and new. The location is near to a subway and the staff was very friendly.
  
  What could be improved: The check-in process is online and needs to be done in advance. But the problem is that you need to inform email and phone number of all guests and the options to send advertisement for each guest is checked by default.
  
  Unfortunately, the air conditioner was not working and, in fact, was heating the apartment (it's almost summer and the apartment was hotter than outside). Since the apartment is located in the underground, there are no windows (only some small ones that goes directly to the sidewalk floor and impossible to open). The staff didn't go there to try to fix it.

  The property was amazing, very clean, comfortable beds and great location – two minute walk to Aldi and around 4 minute walk to the subway station or tram stop. The owner was very helpful and provided a detailed instruction on how to get to the apartment. Worth every penny, would recommend 100%!
  
  What could be improved: If a bigger group is staying at the apartment, pay attention to the fact that there is a water boiler. Although that is not a big problem, just something to remember about.

  Very convenient location. The staff is pleasant to communicate with. Everything is solved online. The apartments have all the necessary equipment.
