I’ve stayed here twice now, and both times I appreciated not having to drag my luggage through endless metro transfers. The Porta Garibaldi area is right there too — that’s where you’ll find some of Milan’s best aperitivo spots if you’re into that scene.

The Room Experience

The room I had was spacious by Milan standards, which honestly isn’t saying much, but this place actually delivers on space. The design feels contemporary without being cold — lots of warm wood tones and quality linens that don’t look like they’ve been through a thousand wash cycles. What impressed me most was the attention to details like proper bedside lighting and enough outlets for all your devices (you’d be surprised how many places mess this up).

Neighborhood Life

This part of Milan has this interesting mix of business travelers and locals just going about their day. There’s a solid restaurant called Osteria del Borgo about two blocks away — nothing fancy, but the kind of place where you’ll hear more Italian than English, which I always take as a good sign. The morning coffee bar downstairs from the hotel makes a proper espresso, and the guy behind the counter actually remembers your order after a couple days.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t the kind of place that’s going to blow you away with over-the-top amenities or lobby theatrics. What it does well is nail the fundamentals — clean, comfortable, well-located, and run by people who seem to actually care about the guest experience. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you consider that most people just want a reliable place to sleep that doesn’t cost a fortune and puts you where you need to be in the city. Sometimes that’s exactly what you’re looking for in Milan.

  The location was good. Few minutes to metro or surface transport place. Easy to reach Piazza del Duomo, Arco dela Pace, Navigli. Was nice that the manager let us leave the luggage before the room was ready for check in.

  Super clean and central room. The instructions on how to enter were send on the day itself and were clear. My friend left her blouse in the room by accident and this issue was solved accordingly. The shower was huge and perfect, comfy beds and cute interior design.
