My Petite Maison Milan Overview

First Impressions

Walking into My Petite Maison Milan, you immediately get why they chose that name — it actually feels like stepping into someone’s stylish Milanese home rather than a typical hotel. The entrance on Via Giuseppe Ripamonti has this understated elegance that’s very Milan, honestly. You know what struck me most? The attention to detail in the lobby, from the carefully curated artwork to the way natural light filters through the space.

The Ripamonti Area

I’ll be straight with you — the Ripamonti Corvetto neighborhood isn’t exactly the tourist center of Milan, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re in a real residential area where locals live and work, which means authentic trattorias around the corner and none of the touristy markup you’d find near the Duomo. The metro connection is solid too, so you can reach the fashion district in about 20 minutes when you want that quintessential Milan experience.

Room Experience

The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed — sort of like a boutique apartment with hotel services. Each space has its own personality, which you don’t always get with four-star properties. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms have this modern Italian aesthetic that feels fresh without being cold. Storage space is smart too, which matters when you’re staying more than a night or two.

Local Flavor

What I really appreciated was how the staff knew the neighborhood inside and out. They pointed me toward a fantastic little restaurant three blocks away that I never would’ve found on my own — the kind of place where the menu changes based on what’s seasonal and good. The hotel doesn’t try to keep you locked in with overpriced dining; instead, they help you discover the area like a local would.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, it comes down to authenticity without sacrificing comfort. My Petite Maison Milan delivers that residential Milan feeling while still providing the amenities you expect from a quality hotel. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you experience how they’ve balanced being genuinely local with being genuinely welcoming to travelers. It’s the kind of place you’d actually recommend to friends — not because it’s flashy, but because it gets the fundamentals right and adds those little touches that make a stay memorable.

    Will recommend to my friends.

  • Excellent stay – Milena from Serbia – 1 June 2025 (9/10)

Very clean, full of everything that you need. Owner thought of everything.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Exceptional – Marina from Romania – 26 April 2025 (10/10)

Very clean, nice apartment. Felt like home, we had everything we needed: fully equipped bathroom and kitchen. Very accessible area, direct tram line to Duomo di Milano.

  • Exceptional – Nikolett from Hungary – 16 March 2025 (10/10)

Exactly like the pictures, clean, small appartment with a nice little balcony. 1m walk from tram stop and about 30 minutes to get into the central. Biscuits, croissants and pastries with jam for breakfast. Owner was helpful.

  • Superb – Georgi from Bulgaria – 10 March 2025 (9/10)

Nice place with close by transport to metro/center.

What could be improved: There was no hair dryer, or if there is one I couldn't find it.

  • Exceptional – Jakub from Czech Republic – 23 November 2024 (10/10)

Great location for my stay since I was visiting University nearby, but even the city center is very easily accessible. Very nice “welcome package” of food, even though it’s packed, it’s all you need.

  • Superb – Thomas from Ireland – 13 September 2024 (9/10)

Well located to public transport and convenient for the city centre and Linate Airport.

  • Fair and balanced solution between Quality and Price. – Vladyslav from Italy – 10 July 2023 (8/10)

The apartment is well furnished and you feel like at home, there is everything you might need. There is complimentary beverage and food.
Comfortable hasslefree check-in and easy to get in.
It is not that close to the downtown but with a tram(stop just down the building) it is quite easy and fast to get there.
The area is not bad, there are several supermarkets(LIDL, Carrefour) and bars/fast food places.
There is AC in the apartment, very important for a comfortable stay in Milan.

What could be improved: The sofa/bed is not that comfortable for tall people, as well as the shower.
The building where the apartment is located is undergoing capital renovation, so during the day there is lot of noise all around. As well as many workers going up and down.

  • A very comfy flat – Ionuț from Romania – 15 June 2023 (8/10)

Clean flat with all the facilities we need, the modern locking system

What could be improved: Very noisy neighbourhood, the bed
