Ponte Seveso Charme Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Ponte Seveso Charme Apartment for the first time, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside. This four-star property sits quietly on Via Ponte Seveso, tucked into a residential building that actually makes it feel more like you’re staying at a well-connected friend’s place than a typical tourist spot. The entrance is understated, which I’ve come to appreciate after dealing with overly flashy hotel lobbies elsewhere in Milan.
The Neighborhood Reality
You know what’s great about this location? It’s in Stazione Centrale, but not in the sketchy part everyone warns you about. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk to Milano Centrale station, which sounds chaotic but actually works perfectly when you’re trying to catch those early trains to Lake Como or Venice. The area has this mix of everyday Milan life — there’s a solid restaurant called Osteria del Borgo two blocks down that locals actually frequent, not just tourists with guidebooks.
The Space Itself
The apartment setup here is what sold me on returning. Each unit feels like someone’s actual home, complete with a proper kitchenette that’s not just for show. I’ve stayed in plenty of places where they give you a mini-fridge and call it a kitchen — this isn’t that. The room layouts vary, but mine had these tall ceilings and windows that let in serious natural light, which you don’t always get in Milan’s older buildings.
Daily Practicalities
Here’s something I appreciated that most reviews don’t mention: the Wi-Fi actually works consistently, and there’s decent parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in Milan (though honestly, you probably shouldn’t). The staff isn’t hovering around a front desk 24/7, but they’re responsive when you need them. I had an issue with the shower pressure once, and someone was there within an hour to sort it out — no runaround or “we’ll get to it tomorrow” nonsense.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps me coming back is how this place gets the balance right between independence and support. You get the space to spread out and live normally — make coffee in the morning, store leftovers from that amazing aperitivo spread you couldn’t finish — but you’re not completely on your own if something goes wrong. Plus, being this close to Centrale means you can explore other parts of Italy easily, then come back to what feels like your temporary Milan home base rather than just another hotel room.

Reviews of Ponte Seveso Charme Apartment
Superb – Karnadi from Indonesia – 5 July 2025 (9/10)
We did not meet the host in person , but he was very responsive when we texted him & the information provided was clear. The unit seems new, it was clean, spacious & comfortable. It's a walking distance to Milan Central station. There were Carrefour express & some restaurants nearby. The washing machine was available for use, incl. the detergent. There was coffee machine too & the capsules were provided.
What could be improved: The size of shower rooms were too small, esp. the one in the main bedroom. There are no container/dedicated area to put the soap & shampoo. The kettle and some pans were dirty/oily, we needed to wash them before using. Other utensils were clean.Exceptional – Brunilda from Albania – 10 April 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: n/aOverall we had a good stay. – Adnan from Saudi Arabia – 26 July 2024 (8/10)
Safe building, comfortable and clean well equipped apartment for short stay. Mini market is next door which is very convenient.
What could be improved: Very small elevator. Kettle is contaminated not suitable for use to heat water. Location is somehow close to central station but the area is on the boring side of town.Exceptional – Siobhan from United Kingdom – 23 July 2024 (10/10)
Good location right by central station so easy to access transport to anywhere. Well laid out apartment that has everything you need.

The apartment was great. Everything was new, very clean and it had everyting you need from an apartment. The location was perfect. The metro station is 8 minutes walk and Milano Centrale Train station the same.
Clean, comfy, spacious and perfect location – Helen from United Kingdom – 10 April 2024 (10/10)
10 min walk from Milano centrale which made day trips from Milan super easy. Apartment was comfy and spacious for a family of four. Easy to find and also right next to a shop which was great for food. Easy walking distance to two metro stations. Host replied quickly to any questions
Superb – Ekaterina from Norway – 21 March 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is cozy, comfortable, spacious, clean. The apartment has everything for living. The windows are noise-absorbing, which is very good, since the windows of the bedrooms overlook the road. Very convenient location, near the central station, bus stops. Shops and cafes are within walking distance. The landlord was quick to respond to messages.
What could be improved: When asked to provide additional keys for our convenience, since there were four of us, the owner replied that you can use the code on the front doors and leave the keys in the drawer next to the front door to the apartment, but in practice the code did not work if no one was there. in the apartment. Which was a bit inconvenient for us.It was great, it had complete amenities for a group or for a family. – Cecilia from Canada – 28 February 2024 (10/10)
