You’re in Milan, but you’re not drowning in the chaos of the city center, which honestly felt like a relief after spending days navigating the crowds around the Duomo.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I loved about the location — you’re in the Brusuglio area, which gives you that authentic Milanese neighborhood feel without being stuck in tourist central. The metro connections are solid (you’ll want to get familiar with the yellow line), and getting to the fashion district or Brera takes maybe 20-30 minutes depending on your timing. I mean, it’s Milan, so you’re going to be on public transport anyway, but at least you’re starting from somewhere that feels real.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and functional — think modern Italian minimalism without the designer price tag. The beds are comfortable enough, and there’s decent storage space, which you know matters when you’re dealing with all that shopping you’ll inevitably do. The bathroom was compact but well-designed, and honestly, the shower pressure was better than some pricier places I’ve stayed in the city center.

Practical Perks

What really worked for me was having parking available — if you’re brave enough to drive in Milan (I wasn’t, but my travel companion was), this is actually a huge deal. The staff speaks English well enough to help with directions and recommendations, and they seem to genuinely know the neighborhood. They pointed me toward this little local restaurant around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of my best meals in the city.

  Obiekt czysty,zadbany w fajnej lokalizacji – blisko metra i pysznej pizzy. Dobrze wyposażony. Nie za duży,ale mu przychodziłyśmy tam tylko spać. Wygodne łóżka i świeżą pościel i ręczniki. Niech nie zmyli nikogo wejście w bramę. To miłe włoskie podwórko z dzieciakami!
  
  What could be improved: Mieszkanko jest dosyć ciemne. Jest tylko jedno okno i nie ma żadnego balkonu. Popołudniu trzeba już świecić światło.

  The apartment is newly furnished and kitchen has almost everything you might need. Room is a little bit small but good enough for 2 or 3.
  
  What could be improved: Power went out around 2am and did come back until 10am. Everything is dependant on electricity in the apartment, so we could not cook for our baby and food in the refrigerator spoiled. I highly recommend to stay away if you want to use cooker, refrigerator, AC, lights which is basically everything.

  What could be improved: The power went out very early morning (3am) and did not come back until 9:30am. The apartment relies on power for everything.

  What could be improved: Tv barely working ,one night electricity cut off (but got help from the neighbor to turn in back on) and it was really noise mornings because it was some construction done early in mornings right above us

  What could be improved: First of all this is not apartment, it is one room with kitchenette and WC, with one window with iron bars. The room is not for one family it is too SMALL. The room was dirty with dust all over it and humidity was unbearable. There was mold on the walls. My little daughter has asthma and she got so worse sleeping in such room with so much humidity and smell from the wc, that we went to hospital to give her prescription for medicine that she can breath. And when that happened we went out of electricity probably because we turn on too much appliances. But at that point the only thing that was on was the hairdryer and we were wаrming water in the pot, nothing else. They will not call you to tell you how to fix the problem but they will send you link which you can not open for what ever reason and when you tell them (ONLY BY MAIL) that you can not open and ask someone to call you there is no answer. And you are left with your sick daughter and no body to help you with the electricity. One neighbor came by and she helped us a lot. If it wasn't for her I truly do not know what would we have done. She wondered how we even can be in that room because the host is well known between them and they had problems with all of the clients staying there. There is no WI FI. So please don't be fooled like us. There is no one to help you about anything you are completely on your own if you come after 18 o'clock. The will lie to you about the WI FI, several times until you will caught them each of their lies and at the end, admit it that they have no internet because I do not know why their provider can not provide them with internet. Everybody else in the building has internet. Probably this host doesn't want to pay for it. (Please do not take video of the router and send it to them, please do not believe that there are underground works and that is why there is no internet, or maybe something else…because we broke through all their lies, just wasting your time)

  What could be improved: The internet is unusable. The staff did nothing about it. Also, the refrigerator doesn’t work, so we needed to throw away plenty of food. Corridor and the room stinks

  The instructions to enter are very usefull i it was easy to access. The location is good, metro station is near, same as some fast food and cofe bars. Very clear and has all equipment for a longer stay.
  
  What could be improved: Wi – fi connection is very bad, only on moments you can catch internet for texts, if you are planning to work online it's impossible.
