This four-star property feels more like staying at a sophisticated friend’s place than a typical Milan hotel.

The Bicocca-Zara Experience

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in the Bicocca-Zara district, which means you get authentic Milan without the tourist circus. The area has this great mix of locals heading to work, university students (Bicocca campus is nearby), and that everyday Italian rhythm you can’t find in the city center. There’s a decent restaurant scene within walking distance, and honestly, the metro connections are solid when you want to hit the Duomo or Navigli.

The Room

The room I stayed in had this clean, modern aesthetic that didn’t try too hard — white walls, good lighting, and those little touches that show someone actually thought about how travelers live. The bed was comfortable (not just “hotel comfortable”), and the bathroom had proper water pressure, which you know matters after a long day walking around the city. Each unit feels more like an apartment setup, giving you space to actually unpack and settle in for a few days.

Practical Details That Matter

The kitchenette setup is genuinely useful — not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker, but actual counter space and proper dishes. You can grab groceries from the local market and have breakfast without rushing downstairs or spending €15 on hotel coffee. Parking can be arranged, which is honestly a relief in Milan, though I’d still recommend using public transport for getting around the center.

  Very spacious apartment. Quiet and well maintained, with all working major appliances and necessary kitchen equipment.. Beds comfortable, shower was good. Comfortable large couch and nice dining area. Everything was as per photos. Close to restaurants and supermarlet.

  Excellent location, spacious, clean, with all the facilities required . Close to all transport links.

  A spacious apartment near centrale. Bedroom is separate which is perfect. Sofa is comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: Furnishings are quite old. The walls are so thin that we hear the people next door alot. The instructions to get in is all online however they didnt send us them until the last day. We needed to call them. And it was difficult because they answered after the third times of our call.

  The apartment is really big and well-equipped. It's clean and in a good area with easy access from the train station by foot and it's close to metro stations as well. Good place to stay in Milano. The checkin was also straight-forward.

  We were extremely happy with the property and it's location. Spacious and comfortable. Check in and check out was a breeze.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was very cold. Since it utilises the central heating system and works only at specific times (I know this is a standard practice in Italy, and most likely beyond the owners' control). It is just not enough to keep this big space warm.
