You’re about a 15-minute metro ride from the city center, but that means you get to see how locals grab their morning espresso and do their grocery shopping. There’s this great little trattoria just two blocks away that I stumbled upon, and honestly, I had some of the best osso buco of my trip there. The area feels authentic in a way that central Milan sometimes doesn’t.

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for Milan standards — I mean, we’re talking about a city where space is at a premium. Everything felt thoughtfully designed without being fussy about it. The bed was comfortable (though maybe not the softest I’ve encountered), and there was actually enough storage space for a week’s worth of clothes. What I really appreciated was the attention to lighting — you could actually read comfortably in the evening, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong.

Practical Perks That Matter

Here’s something that’ll save you both money and headaches — they have free private parking right on site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Milan, you know this is basically like finding gold. I watched other travelers at nearby hotels spend 30 euros a day just to leave their cars somewhere relatively safe. The staff was genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. When I needed directions to a specific vintage shop in Brera, the front desk guy actually drew me a little map and suggested the best metro connections.

The couples thing makes total sense to me — this place has that cozy, intimate feel that works perfectly for romantic getaways. It’s quiet enough that you can actually have conversations without competing with street noise, but you’re still connected to the real Milan.   The apartment was overall OK. The staff was very nice and helpful, which we really appreciated. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The place was clean, but some upgrades to the facilities and comfort would definitely improve the stay.
  
  What could be improved: One of the bathroom lights was constantly on and couldn’t be turned off, which was a bit annoying. Also, the water was leaking continuously at one of the toilets, and the beds were not very comfortable.

  We had a good time here. Accessible by calling a number and this triggers the door to open. Doesn't cost anything to do but if you have a price cap (UK network), it won't allow you to call international numbers. Spacious with everything you need. 2 toilets.
