Residence Giusti 6 Overview
First Impressions
Residence Giusti 6 sits on a quiet side street in the Sempione district, and honestly, you’d walk right past it if you weren’t looking for it. That’s actually part of its charm — it feels more like stepping into a residential building than checking into a typical hotel. The entrance is understated, almost residential, which I mean in the best way possible. You’re not getting a grand lobby experience here, but there’s something refreshingly authentic about that approach.
Location & Neighborhood
The Sempione area is one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists often overlook. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk from the Duomo, which sounds far until you realize you’ll actually enjoy the stroll through Milan’s tree-lined streets. What’s really great is how close you are to Parco Sempione — perfect for morning runs or evening walks when the city gets too much. The Porta Garibaldi station is nearby too, so getting around is actually pretty straightforward.
The Space
This three-star property operates more like serviced apartments than traditional hotel rooms, and that’s where it really shines. Each apartment comes with a proper kitchen, which is honestly a game-changer if you’re staying more than a couple nights. I found myself picking up fresh ingredients from the local markets — there’s something satisfying about making your morning coffee the way you like it. The spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, though that means the furniture shows some wear. It’s clean and functional, just don’t expect Instagram-perfect interiors.
Daily Life Here
There’s no on-site restaurant, but given the neighborhood’s dining scene, that’s not really a problem. What I appreciated was having space to spread out — you can actually unpack your suitcase and settle in properly. The Wi-Fi works well enough for video calls, and there’s decent natural light in most units. Parking can be arranged, though like everywhere in Milan, it comes at a premium. The staff is helpful when you need them, but they’re not hovering around a front desk 24/7.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t going to wow you with fancy amenities or picture-perfect decor. But if you want to feel like you’re actually living in Milan rather than just passing through, Residence Giusti 6 delivers on that front. The combination of residential-style accommodation in a genuinely local neighborhood gives you a different perspective on the city. It works especially well for longer stays or if you’re the type of traveler who prefers exploring local markets to hotel breakfast buffets. Just manage your expectations accordingly — this is about authenticity over polish.

Reviews of Residence Giusti 6
Very good – Nikoleta from Bulgaria – 1 July 2025 (8/10)
Very clean, convenient, spacious, and comfortable room . The ac was fantastic . The bed was very comfy and there are all the basic features needed. Probably great for longer stay
What could be improved: The kitchen space was well equipped but for a short stay was not very useful – no salt, oil or even kitchen detergent so I was not able to use without getting all these for 5 days' stay. Reception and housekeeping is not available on the weekend. The ac ventilation is on the balcony and hot air coming out makes it not possible to stay outside even if ac is offOverall, not exactly – Irene from Canada – 27 April 2025 (8/10)
Top floor was nice and quiet and felt safe as balcony had no lock that I was aware of.
Nice to have a fridge and small kitchen.
Beds were fine
Room looks like the advertised photos and it’s in walking distance to main attractions if you like to walk a lot like we do.
What could be improved: Wish there were screens on the windows as mosquitos were biting as we slept, and there was a smell like baby powder in the air so wanted to keep windows open.
Place was farther from the train station than I expected (in China town)
Didn’t understand from the advertisement that this was a university-dorm-like like residence. Had I known I would have been fine with it, it just took me by surprise.Very good – Heidi from United States – 23 April 2025 (8/10)
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great studio close to China town – Haoqing from Netherlands – 10 March 2025 (8/10)
great location, close to China town and Garibaldi railway station.
What could be improved: the reception is closed on Sunday and sound insulation is not good considering the age of the building.Very good – Bujcri from Romania – 29 October 2024 (8/10)
I liked the location, staff was friendly., very big room with kitchen and fridge.
What could be improved: 2,4 MHz wifi onlyVery good – Lydia from United Kingdom – 24 October 2024 (8/10)
We had booked 3 different rooms/ apartments. They were simply furnished and clean.
Beds in the large apartment were very hard but all the other ones were good.
Property has 2 lifts, doorman until late, very friendly staff. Just few minutes from supermarket, tram stop, cafes and metroPleasant – Peter from Denmark – 26 September 2023 (6/10)
What could be improved: The beds are awful and was very very hard
Oké – Marieke from Netherlands – 18 September 2023 (7/10)
Clean, kitchen well equipped
What could be improved: The beds were small and hard. Also there is no opportunity to sit together with other people or co-travellers.Nice place to stay – Filip from North Macedonia – 1 July 2023 (8/10)
The location, cleaniness
What could be improved: The wifi doesn’t work. Tried several vouchers without success.
There should be a comment that due to late arrival you need to pay 50 EUR deposit plus 15 EUR for the receptionistGood – Dragos from Romania – 13 April 2023 (7/10)
Close the major objectives. We barely used the common transportation. It was clean and quiet.
What could be improved: Missing iron and hair dryer. Also, some flip-flops would be nice.
