Residence Hotel Siloe Overview
First Impressions
Residence Hotel Siloe sits quietly on Via A. Cesari in the Niguarda district, and honestly, it’s one of those places that grows on you. This three-star property doesn’t try to be flashy — instead, it focuses on being genuinely comfortable for travelers who want something more than a basic hotel room but don’t need all the bells and whistles of a luxury property.
Location & Getting Around
The Niguarda-Parco Nord area isn’t exactly central Milan, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re close to the expansive Parco Nord — perfect for morning runs or evening walks when you need a break from the city buzz. The nearest metro connections require a short bus ride, which I’ll admit takes some planning, but the trade-off is a much quieter neighborhood and better value for money.
The Apartment-Style Setup
What makes Siloe different is its apartment-style accommodations. Each unit comes with a proper kitchenette — not just a mini-fridge, but actual cooking facilities. I mean, after a few days of restaurant meals, being able to grab fresh ingredients from the local market and cook something simple feels like a small luxury. The spaces are larger than typical hotel rooms, with separate living areas that make longer stays feel less cramped.
Practical Considerations
The 7.8 rating reflects what you’d expect — everything works well without being particularly memorable. Staff are helpful with local directions and restaurant recommendations, though don’t expect concierge-level service. There’s on-site parking, which anyone who’s driven in Milan will tell you is worth its weight in gold. The building itself shows its age in places, but it’s well-maintained and clean throughout.
Why Guests Love It
This place works best for travelers who value space and independence over location and amenities. Business travelers on extended stays seem to particularly appreciate the setup, and families like having room to spread out. You know what? Sometimes the best hotels aren’t the ones with the most Instagram-worthy lobbies — they’re the ones that make you feel settled and comfortable, even when you’re far from home.
Milan’s hotels wrap guests in Renaissance courtyards, fashion-week heritage, and concierge-curated Lombardy wine tours.

Clean, spacious
What could be improved: Location is near Tram, which is alrightVery good – Ryo from Germany – 7 October 2025 (8/10)
The room is clean and includes a kitchen with cookware and microwave. Friendly staff at day and night.
What could be improved: Room design ist pretty sterile, wooden window was not windproof and the room was little cold. The building seem to be renovated right now, hope it'll be fixed soon.Superb – Angelo from Greece – 8 April 2025 (9/10)
The apartment was big and spacious and fully equipped. Staff was nice.

Location. Service
What could be improved: Older building but quite cleanGood for a place to rest your head if you're heading in/out of Milan via Car – Talia from United States – 6 October 2024 (7/10)
Good communication, free gated parking lot across the street, good for a one night no frills stay on your way in or out of Milan if you have a car (not a nice area to hang out just a place to rest your head) and they gave us breakfast to go because we were going to miss the included continental breakfast!
What could be improved: Could hear people in other rooms, free breakfast started late on weekends, not an area you want to hang outVery good – Anna from Bulgaria – 3 July 2024 (8/10)
Everything was nice. The staff was very kind.
It was a very pleasant stay. – Christopher from Canada – 9 June 2024 (9/10)
It was nice having the extra sitting room, big closet and kitchenette. There was also plenty of free parking which is rare in Milan. The breakfast had great variety and they served dinner with good choices. The area was very quiet and good outdoor space.
What could be improved: There was a pool but it didn’t open until June, so that was disappointing.Very good – Rodolfo from Canada – 11 May 2024 (8/10)
Room
What could be improved: Gym. Very limited schedule and you have to book in advanceExcellent stay in a very clear and nice hotel. – Renan from Canada – 8 May 2023 (9/10)
This hotel is extremely clean, facilities have a huge space, the staff are super friendly and the location very convenient.
