Location & Getting Around

San Siro isn’t exactly central Milan — you’re about a 20-minute metro ride from the Duomo — but honestly, that’s part of what I liked about it. The neighborhood feels real, you know? There’s a decent supermarket nearby, and if you’re a football fan, well, you’re practically next door to the San Siro stadium. The Metro Lotto station is maybe a 10-minute walk, and once you’re on the red line, you can get anywhere in the city pretty easily.

The Space

The room setup is more like a studio apartment than a traditional hotel experience, which works well if you’re staying for more than just a night or two. There’s a proper kitchenette where you can actually cook something decent — I mean, the fridge is small but functional, and having a stovetop means you’re not stuck eating out for every meal. The Wi-Fi works as advertised (important for the Netflix part of their promise), and I had no issues streaming or working from there.

Practical Details

What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re in a residential area. The bed’s comfortable enough, though the pillows could be better — but that’s a minor complaint. The bathroom is compact but clean, with a shower that actually has decent water pressure. You’ll need to coordinate your arrival since it’s not a traditional hotel with 24-hour reception, but the host was pretty responsive when I had questions.

Why Guests Love It

This place works if you want to experience Milan like you’re living there temporarily rather than just visiting. The price point makes sense for what you get — it’s not fancy, but it’s authentic and functional. Plus, having Netflix already set up is one of those small touches that matters after a long day of walking around the city. Just manage your expectations about the “luxury” part, and you’ll probably find it’s a decent base for exploring Milan without breaking the bank.

  The place was really good, close to the stadium and very comfortable. clean and new.
  
  What could be improved: The only thing we didn't like was the tap in the bathroom: it was too short for the type of sink there is, so you can't properly fit your hands under the water.

  Very good location, close to public transports.
  6 beds apartment with modern furniture.
  The ensuite master bedroom is spacious and you can barely hear the noise coming from outside.
  The broadband connection was pretty fast.
  
  What could be improved: The hot water in shower finished immediately after only 3 showers (we are guys so we don't stay in shower for too long). The electric boiler is too small for 6 people.
  The communicating toilets are not really the best and the shower is only present in the ensuite.

  A great and spacious apartment with a refreshing renovation and a contactless entrance and a digital door lock. It has two balconies, two toilets and a washing machine, which is great for a big family. Necessities such as sugar, salt, coffee and tea were provided. The apartment only lies 200 metres from a big supermarket and is close to the city centre. Right outside the apartment there is a bus stop, where busses travel frequently and free parking if you’re lucky to find a free space.
  
  What could be improved: We arrived at the beginning of April with a toddler and the floors were cold. There were no mugs and cooking knives available. It woud also have been nice to have a microwave.
