Brembo House Overview

First Impressions

Brembo House sits quietly on a residential street in Milan‘s Ripamonti Corvetto district, and honestly, that’s exactly what I loved about it. This three-star property doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s just a solid, well-run place where you can actually get some rest without breaking the bank. The building has that understated Italian charm, nothing flashy, but you know you’re in good hands the moment you walk through the door.

Location & Getting Around

Look, Ripamonti Corvetto isn’t the tourist center, but that’s actually a good thing. You’re living like locals do, with genuine neighborhood cafés and markets just around the corner. The metro connections are pretty decent — you can reach the Duomo in about 20 minutes, which means you get the best of both worlds. I mean, after a long day of sightseeing, coming back to this quieter area feels like a relief rather than diving back into the chaos of central Milan.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and comfortable, with that practical Italian approach to hospitality. Nothing overly fancy, but everything worked perfectly — good Wi-Fi, decent air conditioning, and a bathroom that actually had proper water pressure. The beds are firm (which I personally prefer), and there’s enough storage space for a week’s worth of clothes. What surprised me was how quiet it was at night, especially considering we’re still in a major city.

Practical Details

The staff here really knows what they’re doing — they’re helpful without being pushy, and their local recommendations were spot-on. Parking can be arranged if you’re driving, though honestly, I’d recommend just using public transport in Milan. There’s a small lobby area where you can sit and plan your day, and they keep things running smoothly without any unnecessary fuss. You know what I appreciated most? They actually remember your name after the first day.

Why Guests Love It

This place works because it understands what travelers actually need — a comfortable bed, reliable service, and fair prices in a city where hotels can get ridiculously expensive. The 8.5 rating makes perfect sense when you consider the value proposition here. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or rooftop pools, but you’re getting genuine Italian hospitality and a great night’s sleep. For anyone who wants to experience Milan without spending half their budget on accommodation, Brembo House delivers exactly what it promises.

Hotels near me in Milan deliver easy walks to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Sforza Castle, and charming cobblestone piazzas.

Reviews of Brembo House

  • Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen war sehr gemütlich und angenehm – Bianca from Germany – 3 December 2025 (10/10)

Gemütlich, praktisch, ruhig, alles da was man braucht, freundlicher Gastgeber

  • Everything you need – Aneta from North Macedonia – 23 October 2025 (10/10)

    Location was perfect

What could be improved: Nothing to add

  • Mid – Regina from Germany – 3 September 2025 (4/10)

Very good location, a couple minutes away from the metro station. The flat could be perfect for two, it is small but comfy.

What could be improved: Sadly it was not cleaned properly, but it's ok referring to the price for apartments in Milan. The shower is built a little weird but it works. The tv turned on randomly every night.

  • A very cozy place, at the very reasonable price – Aetheros from Italy – 5 April 2025 (9/10)

This super cozy place is inside a traditional Milanese cohort (case di ringhiera). It is small but has everything you may need. It is wonderful for one person or a couple, and it is within three minutes of the metro and the bus.

What could be improved: Got few problems with the TV, but very minor details, everything was great.

  • Exceptional – Marina from Greece – 25 January 2025 (10/10)

We came to Milan for a getaway. Our little Brembo (as we called it) was perfect. It's cozy, near the metro station and very nice for two people.

  • Cozy and great location – Skirmantas from Lithuania – 8 November 2024 (10/10)

Super cozy studio! The location is good as well, the metro station is only 7 minutes by foot and the yellow line goes to Duomo and Central Station.

  • Mold in the shower ceiling – Carmen from Romania – 8 November 2024 (2/10)

The location is 5 minutes on foot to the metro station.
There's an indian market near and you can get some supplies.

What could be improved: The first bad impression was given by the smell from the other apartments. Everyone was cooking at that time and there was a food smell.
We met the guy that had left the keys in the locker the moment we arrived, and I don’t think he wiped the floor. There heater was leaking and there was some water on the floor already.
Spider webs on some places, a sign of a room not being entirely cleaned.

We slept two nights and the 1st one was alright given the fact that the window was opened when we arrived. However, the 2nd night was awful, there was an unbreathable air in the room due to the heavy molded surface in the bathroom. We had to sleep with bathroom’s door closed.

We had to use wet wipes on most of the surfaces to feel safe to touch them. The margins of the bed had dust on them.
Overall, it was the worst experience we had and the place really needs professional cleaning after each guest. Not just someone to change the bed sheets and add toilet paper.
There was a coffee maker machine in the room and the host was nice leaving some coffee capsules, but it didn't turn on.
The shower doesn't have a shower head with hose. It was only pouring from the top. I had difficulties showering without getting her hair wet.

  • Perfect for a weekend in Milan – Lewis from United Kingdom – 12 September 2024 (10/10)

Cute apartment in a perfect location just a 15/20 minute metro from the centre

What could be improved: TV was in a odd position but you don’t go to Milan to watch TV so wasn’t really a issue

  • Bad – St from Bulgaria – 13 September 2023 (1/10)

What could be improved: Unbearable smell from the drain. Dirty. Smelly old pillows.

  • ok for a short medium stay – Giovanni from Italy – 23 April 2023 (8/10)

    position, price

What could be improved: some little important things were missing: just a little bit more of toilet paper, I had to go to buy, I shower gel… arriving late after a flight they are not stupid things
