Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I love about this area — you’re in a real Milanese neighborhood where people actually live and work. There’s a fantastic local market just two blocks away on Via Porpora that most tourists never find, and the Metro connection at Porta Venezia gets you anywhere in the city quickly. You know what’s really convenient? The tram stop right outside practically takes you door-to-door to Navigli for dinner.

Practical Details

The staff genuinely seems to care, which isn’t always a given at this price point. They’ll actually give you proper restaurant recommendations (not just the touristy places) and help sort out any issues without making you feel like you’re bothering them. Breakfast isn’t included, but with that kitchenette and the neighborhood bakeries nearby, you’re probably better off doing your own thing anyway.

  It was in a good area to access the major sights and there is a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, with extra blankets and pillows. The bathroom was small but the space was utilised efficiently. The shower was hot and toiletries and towels were provided. There is a fridge and a kettle and items to make hot drinks. Instructions from the host were very clear and videos of how to open doors made it very easy.
  
  What could be improved: This wasn’t really a problem, but you could hear the neighbour’s running water in the mornings.

  The room although small was comfortable. Entry and information were very well organised. The room was very well located in a quieter area of Milan and very easy to reach and explore from with the regular trams and metro close by.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing but I think there should be a warning that the floor of the shower when wet is extremely slippery, be aware.

  Excellent location, and lots to see around the area, food and shops. You can easily walk to the Duomo from here too. There is a tram stop in front of the accommodation.

  the location is so nearby , there is a good pizza restaurant infront of 4 rooms , its good area to live in , the bed sheet was super soft and comfy
