When I first walked up to the building on Corso Italia, I’ll admit I was a bit unsure, but once inside, this four-star property completely won me over. The whole setup feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s place, except everything is immaculately maintained and thoughtfully arranged.

The Space Itself

You know what really struck me? The generous layout — three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and that lovely living room where you can actually spread out and relax. It’s rare to find this much space in central Milan without paying through the nose. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which honestly saved me a fortune since eating out every meal in this city can get expensive fast. I mean, you’re not going to be cooking elaborate dinners, but having coffee in the morning and storing leftovers makes such a difference.

Location Perks

Here’s the thing about staying on Corso Italia — you’re literally steps from everything that matters in Milan’s city center. I could walk to the Duomo in about ten minutes, hit the fashion district without breaking a sweat, and there’s this fantastic little restaurant just around the corner that locals actually frequent (not just tourists). The metro connections are solid too, so getting to places like Navigli or Brera is straightforward. What I didn’t expect was how quiet it stays at night, considering you’re so central.

Daily Life Here

Living in the space for a few days, I really appreciated the practical touches — decent water pressure in both showers, reliable wifi throughout, and windows that actually open for fresh air. The building itself has character without feeling run-down, and I never had issues with noise from other guests or the street. There’s no fancy concierge service or anything like that, but honestly, Milan is easy enough to navigate that you don’t really need hand-holding.

Why Guests Love It

Look, if you want a traditional hotel experience with room service and a lobby bar, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you prefer the freedom of having your own space — especially when traveling with family or friends — this place delivers. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you factor in the location, the space you get, and the fact that you’re paying reasonable rates for prime Milan real estate. It’s the kind of place where you can actually unpack, settle in, and feel like you’re experiencing the city rather than just passing through it.

  Surprisingly huge place. One room has two twin beds. Another room has one full bed. Another room has a larger twin bed. The living room has a couch you could realistically put someone on. Ac is complicated at first cause you need to turn both wall unit panels on but it works well. Close to many bus stations. This property is about as close as you can get to the permit zone without entering it. There's a parking garage nearby that charges 5 euros an hour or 40 euros for 24 hours parking. We pulling in there, then walked our bags about 5 minutes to the place. Good location and good price.
  
  What could be improved: The smaller shower tends to leak if you don't fully seal the door which is hard when you're getting in. But you just wipe the water up and it's fine.
