San Siro Apartment Overview
First Impressions
The San Siro Apartment sits in a quiet residential area that honestly feels more like staying with local friends than booking a typical hotel. When I first walked up to the building on Via Val Poschiavina, I was struck by how genuinely Italian the neighborhood felt — you know, real people heading to work, not just tourists with cameras. This four-star property manages to blend that authentic Milan living experience with the comfort level you’d expect from a solid hotel.
The Space
What really sold me on this place was the apartment setup — it’s not just a hotel room with a bed crammed next to a tiny desk. You get proper living space here, with a separate seating area that actually makes sense for spreading out your stuff or just relaxing after a long day of exploring. The kitchen is small but functional (I mean, you’re not cooking a five-course meal, but making coffee and keeping some snacks cold works perfectly fine).
Location Reality Check
Here’s the thing about San Siro — it’s not the Duomo area, and that’s actually why I liked it. You’re about a 20-minute metro ride from the city center, but the trade-off is staying in a real Milan neighborhood where you can grab groceries at the local market and see how people actually live. The San Siro stadium is walking distance if you’re into football, and there’s decent parking around here, which is honestly a miracle in Milan.
Daily Rhythms
Mornings here feel different than in touristy areas — you hear actual neighborhood sounds, not just rolling suitcases on cobblestones. The staff knows the area well and can point you toward the best local spots for coffee (there’s this tiny place two blocks away that makes better espresso than most hotel lobbies). I actually found myself looking forward to coming back each evening, which doesn’t always happen when you’re staying somewhere that feels completely disconnected from local life.
Why Guests Love It
Look, if you want to be right in the middle of everything touristy, this isn’t your spot. But if you’re the type who appreciates having actual space to breathe, a neighborhood feel, and easy access to Milan without paying centro storico prices, then this works really well. The 8.5 rating makes sense — it’s not trying to be fancy, just comfortable and genuine, which is sort of refreshing in a city where a lot of places are all style over substance.

Superb – Tomas from Lithuania – 28 May 2025 (9/10)
The location was very good. The apartment was very clean and the private parking is a big plus. The apartment is spacious.
What could be improved: The WiFi didn't work.Appartment to avoid – Mekki from France – 9 May 2025 (1/10)
What could be improved: Apartment to avoid: zero privacy in the bathroom and hallway due to the lack of curtains. Nothing was explained about the required online check-in to receive the access code. I also had to chase them down to get towels to put them as curtains in the shower, which they only provided right before I left. The sink got clogged quickly, and there was a leak from the toilet flush.
Excellent – Stela from Albania – 11 November 2024 (10/10)
It was everything super, it was very near to the San Siro Stadium, because we were there to see Inter-Arsenal.
The host (Antonella) saved us twice; firstly by sending us our passport photos to gain access to the Last Supper and sec – Toby from United Kingdom – 30 July 2023 (10/10)
Great location by the metro in a real Italian suburb. We’ll equipped with fabulous electric blinds
Exceptional – Melissa from Ireland – 23 July 2023 (10/10)
We stayed here to be close to the San Siro Stadium for a concert, apartments were spotless, the host Antonella was very welcoming, she let us know where the best pizza and icecream restaurants were, literally a few minutes walk, fantastic apartment, great air conditioning and very spacious and modern.really easy to get to the city centre, we walked in, it was a long walk but plenty to see along the way and we got the metro back which stops right outside the stadium.
great location and very clean – Gavin from United Kingdom – 16 May 2023 (9/10)
very modern and great location
What could be improved: shower was not the warmestNice apartment in a good location, a bit older than shown in the photos, cleaning could be improved – Valentina from Belgium – 24 February 2023 (7/10)
The apartment is fairly big, close to the metro station and very close to San Siro stadium. The bathroom is quite new and nice. The apartment also feels very safe and is in a very quiet area.
The host was very nice and responsive and welcomed us with a bottle of wine!
What could be improved: The apartment could have been a bit cleaner – some of the cutlery, pans and the oven tray were dirty (guests are – rightly – asked to do the dishes before leaving, but these should be checked before new guests arrive). Some of the pans were also very old and should maybe be replaced. In general, the furniture in the living room could do with an update.excellent! – Diogo from Portugal – 18 December 2022 (10/10)
