You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re in the heart of everything without being on one of those crazy busy tourist streets. The Duomo is about a 10-minute walk, but you can also just wander the quieter streets around Sant’Ambrogio and discover little cafes and shops that most visitors never find. There’s this wonderful sense of being in a residential neighborhood that happens to be incredibly central.

Daily Life Here

Mornings are particularly nice — you can hear the church bells from Sant’Ambrogio (in a charming way, not annoying), and there’s a lovely bakery just around the corner where locals grab their cornetti. The area comes alive during aperitivo hour, and you’ll find some genuinely good neighborhood spots that aren’t trying to be trendy. Having your own space means you can come and go as you please, which is perfect after long days exploring the city.

  Lovely comfortable and pretty apartment with great location for cafes, metro and walking to all the major sights.
  Apartment was also well stocked with everything and essentials needed for a few nights so we didn't need to buy anything except milk and teabags.
  The block was also very safe and secure. It was chilly when we arrived but the heating kicked in very quickly and kept us nice and warm. Loads of spare towels sheets and pillows also helped.
  We had an issue doing the online check in and the mybnb staff were brilliant support on what's app… also through out the stay.
  
  What could be improved: The bed wasn't the best but ok and it's in a very snug alcove so no space either side just for awareness.
  Apart from that we can't fault our stay it's a brilliant apartment.

  For the renovated apartment the shower condition in terms of cleaness was not good; they need to put an effort to eliminate fungus of the corners and the shower has a place to sit inside (good for old people) but below it; poorly clean
  Quite some noise, the windows are not noise tight
  You get the full italian experience when you listen at 7:30am the bell from the church… for me annoying and not possible to recover my sleep, maybe for others is like feeling italian

  Apartment is located in a quiet area, the neighborhood offers several nice cafes just behind the corner.
  All main object are very close.
  It’s cosy, bright, has comfortable bed and everything you need for a stay (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine was an advantage).
  The host is very responsible. Thank you!
  
  What could be improved: We had issue with door lock, thanks to host – I got the support even though it was late.
  Some small things might be fixed: dusty shelves, no dishwasher capsules, kettle was not working properly.

  The place is nice and cozy, well-planned and has everything necessary to stay for a couple of days. The building with its yard is very cute. The location is great, it kinda seemed further from the main city sights than it actually is. Duomo is about 15-20 min on foot, a metro station is near too, so it’s easy to get around the city. The host was always in touch and answered all questions of ours promptly.
  
  What could be improved: The only two things I’d change, would be adding a full-length mirror (it was rather uncomfortable getting dressed with only one small bathroom mirror available) and putting a small trash bin in the bathroom not to drag cotton pads and such to the bin in the kitchen.
