First Impressions

When I first arrived at Sarca 11th Floor Milan, I’ll be honest — the location in Bicocca threw me off a bit. You’re not exactly in the heart of tourist central here, but that’s actually what makes this place interesting. The elevator ride up to the 11th floor builds anticipation, and once you step out, the views hit you immediately. This four-star property sits high enough to give you a proper panorama of Milan‘s sprawling northern districts.

The Room Experience

My room was modern in that clean, minimalist way that actually works — none of that trying-too-hard design you sometimes get. The floor-to-ceiling windows were the real star though, especially if you snag one facing the city center. I mean, waking up to see the Bosco Verticale towers in the distance? That’s not something you get from your typical Milan hotel. The beds are properly comfortable, and the bathrooms have that satisfying rain shower setup that makes you linger longer than you planned.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about Bicocca — it’s not touristy, but it’s incredibly well-connected. The Zara metro station is basically a five-minute walk, and from there you’re in Duomo in about 20 minutes. What I loved was having actual neighborhood life around me instead of just souvenir shops and overpriced cafes. There’s a massive shopping center nearby (Bicocca Village), and honestly, the whole area feels like where real Milanese people actually live and work.

Dining & Amenities

The hotel’s restaurant serves decent Italian fare, though I’d recommend venturing out to explore the local spots — there are some genuine gems within walking distance that most tourists never discover. What impressed me more was the attention to detail in the common areas. The staff genuinely seemed to care about making sure everything ran smoothly, and with a 9.2 rating, you can tell they’re doing something right. The parking situation is also sorted if you’re driving, which is a relief in Milan.

Why Guests Love It

You know what makes this place work? It’s that sweet spot between being properly nice without the pretension of central Milan hotels. The value is excellent — you get modern comfort, great views, and easy access to everything without paying premium prices for a Brera or Navigli address. Plus, staying up on the 11th floor gives you this sense of being above it all, literally. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve discovered something that other travelers haven’t quite caught onto yet.

  The apartment location was great – short walking distance to the metro station (metro took around 30 minutes to the center – Duomo station).
  The host was very nice and responsive. The instructions were clear and helpful.
  The apartment was very clean, big and comfortable – as in the pictures. It had all the required facilities.
  Comfortable beds, nice porch. All windows had nets (great against Milan's mosquitos) and electrical shutters – great for the ones that need darkness to sleep.
  The private parking was excellent.
  
  What could be improved: The parking process takes a long time – since you need to go up to the apartment, take the remotes, go back to the car, park and go back to the apartment. The same when leaving – you need to take out the car, go back to the apartment and leave the keys and the remotes (a bit shorter, since you are more familiar with the surroundings when you leave). This should be taken into account, especially for a short stay.

  comfy and roomy place. Location was good for us (we had a car) and its very close to a metro line to get into town easily.

  The apartment is really nice, it had everything we needed.
  
  What could be improved: I chose the place because it had a parking spot for our car but on the day of arrival I was told that the it was unavailable due to a damaged door which was a little setback for us as we were in a hurry to catch a concert on the other part of the city but still overall the apartment was nice and I can recommend it.
