The apartment feels genuinely homey without sacrificing any modern comforts. I mean, the kitchen is fully equipped — not just some token mini-fridge situation — so you can actually cook if you want to use ingredients from the local markets. The main room flows nicely into the living area, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What struck me most was how quiet it stays despite being in such a lively neighborhood.

Location & Neighborhood

You know what’s great about staying in Navigli? You’re walking distance from some of Milan‘s best aperitivo spots, but you’re also just far enough from the tourist chaos around the Duomo. The canals are literally around the corner, and I found myself strolling along them every evening — it’s where locals actually hang out. Plus, the metro connections are solid, so getting to the fashion district or Brera takes maybe fifteen minutes.

Daily Life Here

Mornings feel particularly nice in this area — there’s a great café about two blocks away where you can grab proper espresso and cornetti. The apartment’s setup makes it easy to have breakfast in if you prefer, though. Parking can be a bit tricky in this neighborhood (it’s Milan, after all), but there are options nearby if you’re driving. I actually found the whole experience more relaxing than staying in a traditional hotel — you feel less like a tourist and more like you belong.

  The surrounding area is nice, the subway & tram is close. The apartment has electronic shutters which makes it confortably dark for sleeping. A Coffee maschine is available. The size of the apartment is nice.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment costs 50€ per day more if you are 4 instead of 2 persons, which is quite high in my opinion, especially as the sleeping couch is making noises each time anyone moves.

  We had a lovely welcome from Matteo when we arrived at the apartment. We especially appreciated the quiet apartment in such a busy city. The room was very clean and comfortable.
  We loved going downstairs to the local café for breakfast with the locals in the area. The tramway very accessible to getting to cool Navilgi neighbourhood with all the bars and restaurants.

  This appartment is very great with all what you need inside. Situated next to the tramway 14 in a quiet area, this is a perfect flat not so far to Milano center and close to navigli.

  The apartment is very spacious and clean with all the facilities we needed. It is in a quiet district and a bonus having the lift. There are supermarkets nearby and a lovely bakery across the road. There are easy transport links into the centre and other areas of Milan. Mateo the co-host was extremely helpful and answered any questions we had very quickly.
