You’re actually in one of Milan’s most livable neighborhoods here, away from the tourist crush around the Duomo but still perfectly connected. The Porta Romana area has this great mix of locals grabbing morning coffee and young professionals heading to work — it feels authentic. I mean, you can walk to the city center in about 15 minutes, or just hop on the metro at Porta Romana station which is practically around the corner.

The Suite Experience

Here’s what caught me off guard — every accommodation is actually an apartment-style suite, which explains the name. My room had this spacious layout with a separate living area and a proper kitchen setup, not just some mini-fridge situation. The design strikes this nice balance between modern functionality and Italian warmth, with marble accents that don’t feel overdone. You know what I appreciated most? The soundproofing — Milan can get noisy, but nights here were surprisingly peaceful.

Wellness & Amenities

The “Terme” part isn’t just marketing speak — there’s actually a proper wellness area with a spa that focuses on thermal treatments. It’s compact but thoughtfully designed, and after walking around Milan all day, those thermal pools hit differently. The staff seems to genuinely know their stuff about wellness rather than just going through the motions. There’s also secure parking available, which anyone who’s tried to park in central Milan will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

  Was greeted outside (which I really appreciated) shown to our room.
  It on road with transport right outside as well as being next to cafes etc. It’s a short scenic walk to the centre.
  We came early and stayed longer (couple hours) and that was free of charge.
  The apartment was clean, had everything we needed, slept well, good black out shutters.

  This was a fab little property. To start with the booking, the communication was great. Andrea the host then met us on arrival and showed us around the apartment. On the first floor, It was modern, clean and comfortable. It also felt safe and secure. It has a living/dining area, separate bedroom, bathroom and small kitchen: There were some lovely touches such as the welcome pack of teas, milk, croissants and a coffee machine. Toiletries and towels were also supplied. It was about 30 minute walk to the Duomo and the spa is a six minute walk away. There were trams you could pick up right outside to go in either direction , just tap for 2 Euro ride. There are also a few restaurants located along the street. Overall would recommend.

  Ho scelto questo appartamento per la vicinanza alle Terme dove le mie figlie hanno organizzato di passare la giornata e mi sono trovato benissimo. Con una passeggiata ho raggiunto il centro in pochi minuti e di sera abbiamo avuto solo l’imbarazzo della scelta per tutti i ristoranti nei paraggi. L’appartamento era pulitissimo, molto tranquillo e ben arredato. Lo consiglio e ci ritornerò.

  Superata ogni aspettativa! È nuovo di zecca, elegante e pulitissimo. La posizione è perfetta, proprio nel cuore di Milano in un quartiere con tutti i ristoranti, negozi e bar che vuoi. Il supermercato è di fronte, il tram che va ai navigli e di fronte e in 15 minuti a piedi si è in centro. Il bello è che nonostante il quartiere sia super animato, l’appartamento è silenziosissimo perché si affaccia sulla corte interna. Ci torneremo di sicuro!😁
