Vico – Corso Como 11 Overview

First Impressions

Vico – Corso Como 11 sits right in the heart of one of Milan‘s most dynamic neighborhoods, and honestly, that’s half the appeal right there. This three-star hotel doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s clean, comfortable, and positioned perfectly for exploring the fashion capital. The building itself has that understated Italian charm you’d expect from the area, nothing flashy but definitely welcoming.

Location Magic

You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally on Corso Como, which means you’re walking distance from the famous Corso Como 10 concept store and all those trendy bars that make this area buzz at night. The Porta Garibaldi station is so close you can practically roll out of bed and catch your train — I mean, we’re talking maybe a three-minute walk. And if you’re heading to the business district around Porta Nuova, those gleaming skyscrapers are right there too.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was compact but smartly designed, which is exactly what you’d expect in this part of Milan where every square meter counts. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, with decent Wi-Fi and air conditioning that actually works (trust me, you’ll appreciate that in summer). The bathroom was small but functional, and honestly, you’re probably not going to spend much time in your room anyway when there’s so much happening outside your door.

Neighborhood Vibes

What I really loved was stepping out in the morning and immediately being part of Milan’s rhythm. There’s a great little restaurant just around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee, and you’ll quickly realize this isn’t just a tourist area — real Milanese live and work here. The Navigli district is easily reachable if you want those canal-side aperitivos, but honestly, the bars right in this neighborhood are just as good and way less crowded.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t going to blow you away with fancy amenities or a rooftop pool, but that’s not the point. What Vico delivers is a solid base in one of Milan’s coolest areas without breaking the bank. You’ve got easy parking options nearby if you’re driving, though I’d honestly recommend just using public transport — it’s that well connected. For travelers who want to experience Milan like locals do rather than being stuck in some generic hotel bubble, this place just works.

    Great location

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Amazing location and value for money just needs ear plugs! – Elizabeth from United Kingdom – 9 September 2025 (7/10)

    It was all great.
My only suggestion would be to provide ear plugs as the music for the club is very loud between 12-3am!!

What could be improved: The music

  • Beautiful loft studio in great location! – Mary from Australia – 23 May 2025 (8/10)

What could be improved: The lock on the front gate was very tricky

  • Small but perfectly formed with very helpful staff – Wendy from United Kingdom – 18 January 2025 (9/10)

The staff were very helpful. We had a late check-in, but they left very clear instructions on how to get into the apartment out-of-hours.
Excellent location, about five minutes walk from Porta Garibaldi and half an hour from the Duomo.
The flat itself was small, but had everything we needed for a short stay.

What could be improved: Due to our late arrival, and the fact that it's January, the apartment was only 12⁰C when we got there. It took a day to warm up but was cosy for the rest of our stay.

  • Very good – Alexl from Belarus – 11 July 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: It is too noisy for me during the night

  • Good value for money and for short stay! – Samridhi from United Kingdom – 31 May 2024 (9/10)

Property was modern with good kitchen appliance and main attraction was how centrally it’s located..duomo was about 25 mins walk.

What could be improved: Noise/clubs at night. Occasional train vibrations

  • Avoid – Jurgen from United Kingdom – 15 March 2024 (1/10)

    Nothing

What could be improved: In urgent need or repairs.
Located above several clubs in an unsafe area as we noticed when there.
Have us the wrong keys, so had to take another hotel as we came home late the first night, as there is no reception and no one to contact.
