Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I really appreciated about this spot in Milan — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist chaos. The Porta Garibaldi area is maybe a 15-minute walk, and you can easily hop on public transport to reach the Duomo or Navigli. But honestly, the neighborhood itself has plenty going for it, with local cafes and shops that feel authentically Milanese rather than put on for visitors.

Practical Details

The parking situation isn’t terrible, which in Milan is saying something — there are street spots and a garage nearby if you’re driving. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night despite being on a piazza. The windows do their job well, and you’ll sleep properly. The whole place stays cool in summer too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re walking around Milan all day.

  The apartment is located in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood, with excellent access to public transportation, which made getting around easy and convenient.
  
  What could be improved: However, during my stay, there were ongoing construction works on the building’s balconies. Scaffolding, workers, debris, and significant dust made it difficult to open the windows and enjoy fresh air. This understandably affected the comfort of the apartment.
  
  Inside, the apartment was quite dusty—especially the floors—and could have been cleaned more thoroughly before my arrival. The bathroom, in particular, would have benefited from more attention.
  
  Additionally, it would have been thoughtful to provide at least a bottle of water in the minibar, especially since tap water in the area is not drinkable. This small gesture would have made a noticeable difference.
  
  Overall, while the location was excellent, the cleanliness and lack of basic amenities during construction works detracted from the overall experience.

  Great location, you can do everything walking or using the train and metro with a few steps from the apartment. Everything was really clean and with an easy access. Lavinia was really helpful and gave us all the information.

  All was just great in the apartment. The only thing that wasn’t okay was the fact that the building was being renovated from the outside, and on the last day, we were woken up early in the morning by the construction crew.

  Гарне розташування, охайно, зручне ліжко. Просторе, світле та комфортне житло де хочеться залишитись подовше.
  
  What could be improved: Тяжко назвати це недоліком, скоріше рекомендації, в помешканні відсутня кухня але присутній чайник можна випити кави і чаю але немає чашок, так само жодних приборів чи тарілок.

  The lotacion is great, close to the tram stop and nearby you can also find a the market. The apartment is very comfortable and the bed is super to get rest. No noises. Super class condominium.
  
  What could be improved: The fridge is very small and if you want to stock your stay up, you can't due to the size. The bathroom doesn't have a bidet which is essential. I'd also recommend to add a table with some chairs in the room where currently is located a sofa.
