Accomodo Milano – MIB13 Bivano Navigli Overview
First Impressions
Accomodo Milano – MIB13 Bivano Navigli isn’t your typical hotel — it’s actually more of a serviced apartment setup that feels refreshingly authentic. When I first walked up to the building on Via Mario Fusetti, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from this three-star place, but the residential feel of the neighborhood immediately put me at ease. You know what struck me most? How it doesn’t try to be something it’s not — just a solid, practical base in one of Milan‘s most vibrant districts.
Location in Navigli
The Navigli area is honestly where you want to be if you’re looking to experience Milan like a local rather than a tourist. Those famous canals designed by Leonardo da Vinci are literally a few minutes’ walk away, and the evening aperitivo scene here is something else entirely. During the day, it’s pretty quiet and residential, but come sunset, the whole neighborhood transforms into this buzzing social hub. I mean, you’ll hear the energy building from your window as people start gathering along the canal banks.
The Space
The bivano (Italian for studio apartment) gives you way more space than a traditional hotel room would. There’s a proper kitchenette setup that actually works — I made coffee every morning and grabbed groceries from the local market to keep things simple. The furnishing is pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, but everything you need is there. What I appreciated most was having a real living area where I could spread out my maps and actually relax in the evenings.
Getting Around
You’re well-connected here without being in the touristy chaos of the center. The Porta Genova train station is close enough for day trips, and there are tram lines that’ll get you to the Duomo or shopping districts when you need them. But honestly, I found myself walking everywhere — Milan’s surprisingly walkable, and this location puts you right in the sweet spot between authentic neighborhood life and easy access to the main sights. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but that’s pretty much Milan in general.
Why Guests Love It
This place works because it gives you a real taste of Milanese life without the premium price tag of the fashion district hotels. The 7.5 rating makes sense — it’s not trying to impress with marble lobbies or fancy amenities, but it delivers exactly what it promises. You get your own space, a great neighborhood to explore, and the freedom to live like you actually belong in Milan for a few days. For anyone who values authenticity over Instagram-perfect hotel shots, this little spot in Navigli hits just the right note.

What could be improved: Bed was not the comfiest and there was no toilet roll on arrivalFIN – Teemu from Finland – 21 July 2024 (7/10)
Location perfect, nice old style building, balcony, A/C, gate opening via weblink. Didn't see other residents so very quiet place.
What could be improved: Dirty water boiler, old door to stairs didnt open with code and is difficult to open with key. Apparently every visitor buys new dishwashing liquid.Good – Dominika from Poland – 10 June 2024 (7/10)
The location was great! The terrace was breathtaking!
What could be improved: The room was not prepared for two persons. There was no contact with host when we arrived and discovered that the beds were not made for two people. They called me in the morning, so they did not solve the problem. Also, there was a problem with openning the green door. We struggled each time. The italian neighbours required silence but were nice:)Good – Tatiana from Poland – 13 May 2024 (7/10)
Spacious, bright apartment all you need for comfortable living is here. The location is great
What could be improved: I suggest to add curtains in bedroom. Cleaning could have been better.A beautiful, quiet place, with easy connections to get to know all of Milano. – Lucila from Argentina – 15 March 2024 (9/10)
The location was in the surroundings of the Navigli, a residential place that is very quiet, but still has a lot a shops, bars and restaurants and a very active social life nearby. I recommend going to Pizzeria La Magolfa, which is just a block away from the apartment.
What could be improved: We had the opportunity to meet two unfriendly old ladies in the complex where the apartment is located. One of them complained about a noise that we never made because we spent most of our time outside. So they weren't very welcoming,
but despite that small detail, we had a great time there. Take a note: if you're looking for a place you want to have parties or listen to loud music with friends until very late, this is not it.
Getting to the apartment is very uncomfortable. You have to do it by stairs, which was difficult because we had four suitcases.
It is true that it is sometimes difficult to contact the hosts. I did it by whatsapp because Booking wasn't even working so I spent a couple of days a little bit stressed by that until they confirmed my stay.Very good – Marija from Spain – 8 December 2023 (8/10)
Cosy apartment in the great neighborhood
What could be improved: Beds could be more comfortableBad bad bad – Vasileios from Greece – 13 November 2023 (2/10)
The location was very good, close to the Metro station.
What could be improved: Broken chairs on the balcony, dirt and hairs in the bathroom, NO HEATING WAS FUNCTIONING and when we told them to sort it out "they forgot" to solve the issue and make the heating work again. We stayed 5 days and we solved the issue ourselves then last day. 4 days no heating with 4-10 degrees outside!!Very good – Milica from Montenegro – 19 October 2023 (8/10)
The location is excellent
What could be improved: the beds are uncomfortableIf it was cleaner it would have been nice – Mina from Serbia – 27 July 2023 (7/10)
It is very roomy
What could be improved: It wasn’t very clean. The host said that they sent someone to clean the room again but it did not happen. There were stains on bathroom floor and a lot of hair, on pillows as well.
