The Porta Vittoria train station is practically next door — I mean, you can walk there in about three minutes — which makes getting around the city ridiculously easy without dealing with all the chaos of Centrale.

The Space Itself

This three-star setup is really more of an extended-stay concept than a traditional hotel room. Each unit feels like a compact apartment with a functional kitchenette that actually has everything you need — proper refrigerator, stovetop, even decent cookware. The design is clean and modern, though not particularly memorable, but honestly that’s fine because it just works.

Practical Considerations

Look, the 7.2 rating tells you this isn’t going to blow your mind, but it’s solid and dependable. The Wi-Fi actually works well (which matters more than people admit), and there’s decent soundproofing considering you’re in the city. Parking can be tricky in this area — I’d recommend checking with them ahead of time if you’re driving, because street parking is hit-or-miss around here.

Why Guests Love It

What really makes this place work is the independence it gives you. You can grab groceries from the Carrefour down the street, cook breakfast in your own space, and feel like you’re living in Milan rather than just visiting it. It’s particularly great for longer stays when you want that home-base feeling, and the train connections mean you can easily explore other parts of Lombardy on day trips if that’s your thing.

  What could be improved: Two days before arriving at their place they announced that they were changing our reserved apartment to a similar one but with a different bed configuration. We booked the apartment with two double beds and two single beds and they gave us one with a double bed and 3 singles. Of course we explained to them that it was not possible because we were traveling with small children and they had to sleep with the adults but without a solution. They told us that if we did not like it we should complain to booking and they must solve it and it's not their problem. The day we arrived at the apartment it was an indescribable mess, as if no one had cleaned there in years. The heating was not working upstairs and it was 19 degrees. I called them and they said that they had nothing to do and that they would send someone in the morning. So we slept with the small children one night in the cold. The next day they fixed the heating which worked for one day after which the third night we slept in the cold again. It was the worst possible experience with both the apartment and the booking team, which did not help us at all.

  What could be improved: Dirty would be an understatement. I dropped a little water by the kitchen counter, and mopped it with a white cloth that just became black. The furniture in the kitchen itself was sticky and the dishwasher was just filthy. On top of things, Aircon did not work on second floor, which is top floor under the roof, a real furnace in the summer, but 2 nights did not suffice to get it fixed. Zero kitchen basics, 2 spoons (we were a family of 6) and a broken bed frame. To top this list, pests crawling from the bathroom. There is a notice in the main entrance but the owner says he was never reported this issue. I very much doubt it, and even made a full video of the insects enjoying the place better than we did

  La posizione. È un bell'attico a 5 minuti dalla stazione del treno di Porta Vittoria.
  
  What could be improved: Entri in casa e trovi una struttura letto rotta, messa in verticale al centro del salone. Vai in una delle camere e capisci il perché: la struttura appartiene ad un letto, la cui rete è direttamente poggiata sul pavimento, col materasso sopra…
  Le serrande elettriche non funzionano, per cui all'alba tutti svegli perché non si possono oscurare le finestre.
  In cucina c'è una lavastoviglie, ma è rotta e puzza da morire.

  Nice apartments, large and bright. Good location. If it wasn't for the very poor management, I would have rated it higher.
  
  What could be improved: Very poor management. When we arrived, the house smelled very strongly of gas. The house was very cold and the heating was not working. We called the manager and explained the situation. Nothing was done, and no one else answered our calls. They just didn't take the phone. The gas situation was unsafe. We had to close the gas tap ourselves. Because of this, there was no hot water. The manager called us back only the next day and explained how to make the gas boiler work. It turned out that in order for the gas boiler to work, it was necessary to open all the taps with water, only then the boiler did not turn off. This instruction was not in the house. But even after that, the heating on the second floor did not work. There was also no instruction on how to connect to the Internet. Additional disadvantages, we paid the local tax, although stated that all taxes are included. Please note that they refused to settle us until we paid this tax. Additionally, there is only one set of keys, there is no normal knife, only canteens. I recommend the owner of the apartment to change the manager, as it spoils everything.
