The bathroom was actually quite spacious for a historic building, and the shower pressure was solid (you know how hit-or-miss that can be in older European hotels). Air conditioning worked well during the summer heat, which honestly made all the difference after walking around the city all day.

There’s an on-site restaurant that serves decent Italian fare, though I’ll be honest — with Milan’s incredible food scene right outside your door, you might find yourself eating out more often than not. The breakfast spread was pretty standard but fresh, with good coffee that actually tasted Italian. Staff were genuinely helpful with restaurant recommendations, and they seemed to know which places locals actually go to versus the obvious tourist traps.

  When my wife booked it she thought it was a hotel. It is a converted apartment. We have seen the same thing in Split, Croatia so we weren't shocked just initially surprised. Took us 2-3 attempts to understand how to open the front door.

  Centrally located with a very short walk to il Duomo and the Galleria shops, and surrounded by restaurants made this hotel a great choice to stay

  What could be improved: Breakfast consisted of having to walk for 10 minutes to a cafe which did not know about the supposed arrangement with the hotel to provide us with breakfast. After explaining we came from hotel AH Duomo Signature we were reluctantly provided with a meagre breakfast consisting of 1 coffee, 1 croissant and 1 orange juice. This was repeated on subsequent days and falls short of what is expected of a hotel breakfast
