Amedia Hotel Milan, Trademark Collection by Wyndham Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Amedia Hotel Milan, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, you immediately get that “this is actually a solid choice” feeling. The lobby has this clean, contemporary vibe without trying too hard to be trendy — which honestly feels refreshing after seeing so many hotels that are all style and no substance. The staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests, and I mean that in the best way possible.
The Neighborhood Reality
Here’s the thing about the Lorenteggio area — it’s not going to win any beauty contests, but it’s real Milan in a way that the touristy center just isn’t. You’re about 15 minutes from the Duomo by metro (Bisceglie station is literally around the corner), and honestly, that distance works in your favor. The streets around here actually have character, with local cafés where you’ll hear more Italian than English, and the prices for everything from coffee to dinner are what locals pay, not tourist rates.
The Room Experience
My room was spacious by European standards — I mean, you can actually open your suitcase without doing furniture Tetris. The design is modern without being cold, and the bed was genuinely comfortable, which matters more than all the fancy touches in the world when you’re walking 20,000 steps a day around the city. The bathroom had good water pressure (you know how hit-or-miss that can be), and everything felt recently updated.
Getting Around and Dining
The metro connection is honestly the hotel’s secret weapon — you’re connected to everything Milan has to offer without paying centro storico prices. There’s solid parking if you’re driving, though I’d honestly skip the car rental and embrace the public transport. The hotel’s restaurant serves decent international fare, but step outside and you’re in this authentic neighborhood where the pizzerias and trattorias are the real deal.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
This four-star property gets the balance right between comfort and value in a way that’s surprisingly hard to find. You’re getting reliable Wyndham standards without the corporate stuffiness, and the location lets you experience Milan like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, start your day without stress, and don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything — which, when you think about it, is exactly what you want from a city hotel.

Nice hotel – Hani from Oman – 10 October 2025 (8/10)
Nice hotel, very close to the airport. The buffet was good. Great for a short stay
What could be improved: The room was a smallVery good – Ivet from Bulgaria – 8 October 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: I will recommend to have some slippers in every room and air conditioner, also like a little fridge. That’s all. But everything was fine. I like it 😍🥰
Nice hotel but rude front-desk staff – Joseph from United States – 1 October 2025 (9/10)
Hotel was very nice and had surprisingly good food on-site at decent prices.
What could be improved: I thought the front desk staff was very rude. My wife and I came in the door and walked to what we thought was the check-in desk. There were three hotel workers behind the counter and not a single one of them said hello or acknowledged our presence. We thought that perhaps we were at the restaurant check-in, so my wife went to the elevator sign to see what floor reception was on, and I did the same with a map on the wall. After a minute of this, about 15 feet from those three hotel workers, we returned to them and waited to be acknowledged. Restaurant staff were extremely nice and professional.Very good – Davood from Iran – 22 September 2025 (8/10)
Clean, comfy, and newly
Thanks for the housekeepingBest choice for this area despite some inconveniences – Alua from Kazakhstan – 19 September 2025 (7/10)
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, and even when our AC didn’t work, the staff offered us another room, which we found very thoughtful.
What could be improved: The location is quite far from the city centre and also felt a bit scary at night, so it’s not very convenient if you want to explore Milan easily (although there is a metro station nearby). However, if you are specifically looking for accommodation in this area (as was our case), this is definitely the best option you can find. Another thing that left a bit of disappointment was when we asked for robes, an iron, and some other items. The receptionist gave us everything we needed, but we weren’t told that these came with extra charges, which was confusing and unpleasant in the end. Also, while the breakfast was decent, the taste could have been better. Lastly, our AC didn't work, and although the staff tried to help, they couldn’t fix it.Overall, it was a very good experience. – Silency from United Kingdom – 6 August 2025 (9/10)
Staff were friendly once we got past the language barrier. Make Google Translate your friend. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was really nice.
What could be improved: Considering the security at the hotel, the questioning over who is eating breakfast was a bit much. Couldn't work out how to switch on the little fridges. The cafeteria was closed.Lovely stay overall. – Kleopatra from South Africa – 3 August 2025 (8/10)
The hotel is modern and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
What could be improved: In terms of location, the hotel is far from the centre of Milan – around 30 minutes. The train station is itself quite far, though you can take a bus to cut down some time.It was a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay – Babawale from Nigeria – 2 August 2025 (9/10)
i liked the enviroment it was so clean and the staffs were nice
I will recommend the hotel for peopleGreat stay when in Milan. – Harry from Australia – 31 July 2025 (9/10)
Great room, decent breakfast, nice staff.
What could be improved: Location is not ideal although it’s not terrible.
